  • Shadow Foreign Affairs Minister Simon Birmingham has discussed the “profound shift” from the Labor government’s stance on Palestine.
This comes amid the Australian government supporting the vote at the UN for Palestinian statehood.
“They’ve changed Australia’s foreign policy position,” Mr Birmingham told Sky News Australia.
“They’ve shifted the position in relation to a negotiated two-state solution to, instead, one where the government is telegraphing that a two-state solution could and should come before settlement of difficult questions.

No…. the moment Labor came to govt…Pwong denounced formal recognition of Australia’s stance supporting Israel. I was one Australian that noticed her distancing our country from the rightful Jewish Palestine land ownership to the fraudulent Arab occupation of their land, necessitating in 1948 a declaration of a state of Israel to escape the Arab brutality. The west favour the University taught lies and if the students don’t wake up … Australia will be the Gaza they are vocal for.

The US wants us to work on relations in the asia pacific. The US said scomo had totally failed in the pacific, which is no surprise for him. l😅

Bullllllllllshiiiiiiiiiiiiiter Birmingham. . . . In her address to 25th Anniversary Chabad North Shore, 11 June 2015, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Hon Julie Bishop stated:
We (Israel and Australia) share a commitment to democracy, and a mutual interest in maintaining a rules-based international system. ...
We believe that Israel, no matter what the political stripe of the elected government, must remain committed to, indeed, actively pursue, a two-state peace settlement. Australia remains committed to a two-state solution - and we recognise the legitimate aspirations of the Palestinian people for statehood.
