You made my day mate. I checked the brushes, notice they were short arses, pulled them out a tad ,put back together and wackydoo all worked as it should. Thanks a bunch 🙂
I called samsung and they wanted to change the hole motherboard, i watched the video and got new brushes and installed them and it worked, thank you man ♥️
Awesome video dude. We picked the machine up off the side of the road, Googled the error code and thanks to your video got the old girl humming like a bird. Swapped the top and bottom brushes over and an off to find new brushes tomorrow. So for the cost of the brushes we have a new second hand washing machine that retails new for about 900 Australian dollars
Brother. Thank You so Much. Our washing machine stopped spinning and after running it in diagnostic mode it came up with E3 error. Now I'm not a master engineering but I can tinker with some screws :) so I ordered new brushes and replaced them as instructed and everything works fine. God Bless you My Friend.
Hello mate - great video. Did as instructed and she worked a treat. Saved me from having to buy a new one. Samsung WF1752WPC - showed a E3 error. Replacement brush cost me AUD$16 on eBday. Took less then 5min. Hardest part was flipped it over. I’ve done a drum clean and handed it over to the mrs to clear up the back log of unwashed cloths. Great video - keep up the good work. Cheers
Thanks for the tip about accessing the motor from the base of the machine, saw another video accessing the motor from the rear and taking the motor out, a right pain. Fitted the two carbon motor brushes from the base of the machine, no need to remove the motor or the drive belt.👍👍Samsung eco bubble lives again, all for a pair of £16 carbon motor brushes, I hope the brushes last .🤣 thanks again. 👍👍👍
Thank you so much - very good tutorial. Spares cost me NZ$67 (mission to find them), and it took me 10 minutes to get our 8 year old machine up and going again.
Fixed. Wouldn’t have known about this without your video. Tricky to find the carbon brushes for my model but I bought similar looking ones then popped the casing and swapped the carbon. Pile of dirty clothes being washed right now plus I’ve cleaned the filter and waste pipe! Thanks!
Thank you, it was the brushes. First one looked ok but other was badly worn, I order a pair of Amazon last night and it’s back up and running in less than 24hrs Thanks Again
Legend, thanks for video. Checked the brushes and the carbon dust had clogged the aperture. The machine is running again, but I'm ordering new ones now....❤
Thank you very much! The carbon brushes were the problem so an easy $70 fix instead of having to get a new machine straight after the Christmas shopping. Thank you.
I have a ecobubble Samsung washing machine. My machine puts a code 3E motor error. Following your instructions I searched for brushes to change, has none. BUT I took out the two pumps and one of them was filled with papers, so I unblocked an cleaned it. After that it keeps putting out the error BUT only if I put a temperaturemore than 30 degrees Celsius. What now?
Thanks 👍 brother, i have the same machine with 3e error and I opened it up and the bottom brush is only about 5mm long, ordered some new ones online hopefully they get here before we run out of clean clothes cheers!
I had the 3E error on my Samsung washing machine and the filter was pretty clogged, so I cleaned it. I had to put a pizza pan to catch the water, and empty it about 10 times, to empty out all the water in the machine. I cleaned out the filter and put it back, and it still has the 1st light blinking on and off. I no longer have the 3E error, but the machine goes for about 2 minutes and then stops, and just sets there for about 10 minutes and then goes a little bit more, like another few minutes, and then stops again. The 1st light, like perhaps a water filling light, is blinking. Any ideas? Thanks.
Hi mate, had an engineer out,who eventually changed the complete motor.Still went, and continues to go to E3. It still works ,but still goes to E3 four out of every five washes, driving me insane. The engineer says the fault must be with the pcb,and advises to buy a new machine.Sounds drastic when everything else works ok
Thank you. This video fixed my issue. Just a quick question, i am getting a low sound when the machine is running. Kind of noise that we get when we rotate the drum manually. Is that normal? or should i check it out again on something. Mine is wf8750lsw
Thanks for the video, the top brush had heaps left by the bottom one was very short but I gave it a good yank to extend it out a bit, hopefully it lasts until the new brushes arrive so I can cross thread all the screws again.
Hi sorry about that will get it sorted soon. Type on eBay carbon brushes for Samsung washing machine. Type in your washer model number as well this will help
Hello we have a Samsung washing machine model number wf600b0bkwq in this motor not have a carbon brushes what we have to do tell me that3E showing error code in the display Tq...
Hi this one has an invertor motor. Usually with these it’s the contacts on the main board that have come loose, the soldered connection is broken. Unfortunately I haven’t done a video on one yet but there are plenty on UA-cam at the moment
Hi great video and I have replaced the carbon brushes and the 3E error has gone away and the drum spins but it does not spin at full speed leaving the clothes too damp. Would you know the reason for this?
Thanks , glad you could sort out that spinning issue. Couple of things might be causing the clothes to stay damp. The drain pump might be a bit old, so its not pumping out water fast enough. Other thing is how much is your wash load ? Optimum load would be about halfway up the door. What Rpm is it spinning at 1200 or 800 ?
Hi - great help - just wondering - I am getting a noise (sounds like from the pump you were pointing out) before 3E code appears. It looks clear but is there any possibility of stuff having got into the pump itself?? If so, what can I do??
hi thanks for reaching out. You will need to grab a torch open the filter cap and put the washer on a spin cycle. During that cycle have a look down there where you took the filter cap off to see if the pump is spinning freely. If nothing is there a noisy pump that still spins indicates you need a new one as its not spinning fast enough to drain the water in the allocated time.
@@askmrwashywashy Thanks for your prompt reply. I did that and whilst there was a little noise, the actual main drum itself didn't even spin, so I will investigate the carbon brushes further with the help of your video.
@@askmrwashywashy Just wondering - How long would you normally expect these brushes to last in normal circumstances?? (just 2 of us!) - I am sure the machine is only ~5 years old.
@@normanmcauley6353 Depends on how often you wash in a week. The more often you wash the faster they wear. 5 Years would be about the time you need to replace the brushes. You would want to replace them possible at 3-4 years to avoid them wearing down to the wires and then possibly burning out your main board
hi check the motor where the brushes sit, might be too much carbon buildup. Also make sure you have replugged brushes back in. Apart from the the main board might have a problem

Thanx Kyle. After seeing your comment I swapped the top and bottom brushes over and away she went.

Hi yeah it’s a bit weird would’ve changed the board and not the motor in that case. Seems like a waste of a good motor and money now.
i was hoping you had a solution for me but my washer has a stator motor rotor or whatever in the back. No carbon brushes on wf419aaw/xaa
