- I return to the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway on Saturday 29th July as they were holding a vintage trains event with vintage locomotives pulling vintage carriages. This video sees "1054 London & North Western Railway 0-6-2T ‘Coal Tank’" preparing for service from Oxenhope to Keighley and then returning. This train was scheduled to run 3 times during the day. While there I also manage to capture loco 41241.

The station at 6.20 is impressive for a 5 mile line
Cracking video as per usual 👍 lovely photos and a lovely day for it as well 👍
Thank you. I was lucky with the weather considering the forecast. Saying that when I arrived at Keighley the first time as soon as I got out the car it was heavy rain hehe.
0:01 Arthur!!!
1:29 1054 and a diesel Shunter!!!!!!
5:19 1054 Again Hooray!!!
Lol, unless it's his brother.
Amazing Video!
Hello, thanks for watching and your comment. All the best :)
@@railway_photographer I really enjoyed the video! 1054 is one of my favourites and 41241 is certainly a lovely Locomotive!
@@trainsacrossthenorth It is nice to see some of the more vintage locos in action. 41241 certainly stands out on the sunshine :-)
Nice video great camera work as usual keep it up bye for now Philip
Thank you for watching and your comment. Take care :)
I really detest this trend for putting stinky diesels with beautiful steamies! The smell of a properly warmed up steam engine is heavenly. The stench of diesel just awful. At least put the diesel at the opposite end of the train!
The coal tank has survived scrapping twice.
So it’s now in its Stone Roses “Second Coming” phase.
It's good to know that they can keep it alive and running and it hasn't gone to a museum
