Loco 5043 "Earl of Mount Edgcumbe" pulls The Christmas White Rose to York on 4th December 2024!
Another Christmas White Rose charter to York, this time being pulled by locomotive 5043 "Earl of Mount Edgcumbe". First part of the video was filmed when it arrived and stopped for a short break in Pontefract, and then the second part of the video is the return trip leaving York, on another cold, wet dark evening.

Loco 7029 "Clun Castle" - The Christmas White Rose 27th November 2024

In this video I was out in Yorkshire to film locomotive 7029 "Clun Castle" as it pulls another The Christmas White Rose to York. I decided to stop first at Church Fenton and then the plan was to travel to York to film it leave for it's return leg. I was lucky enough this time to see the locomotive being turned on the turn table. Sadly due to the distance I was unable to get a clear steady shot....

I once again return to York station to film and photograph another Christmas Charter "The Christmas White Rose" this time arriving being pulled by locomotive "60532" Blue Peter. Yet again the madness on the platforms when it arrived and departed meant it was a tricky one to film. On Sunday 17th November I visited The Lincolnshire Wolds Railway as they had a trains running day.
