I always wanted to make a fighting game like street fighter but instead have the characters from Star Trek the Next Generation....I can see it in my minds eye and its hilarious.
I wish we could play with Blonde Barbarian-looking Simon (the look of him he has in Castlevania X68000 and Smash Ultimate) I know Nes Simon is supposed to represent him due to his portait, but its just not the same to me.
@@micrard2753that complaint makes no sense tho. Richter takes most moves Simon. The Up Smash, The diagonal aerials, crawling, holding the whip ala shiek's chain, the tether recovery are all from Simon's moveset from SCIV. Technically all Belmonts are moveset clones from Simon from Castlevania 1 since that was the first game and those games use Simons moves as a basis. Meanwhile Simon only takes like 4 moves, dash attack, up special, down tilt and Grand Cross and the latter one is more of a move shared by the Belmont family as shown by Trevor and Julius. Besides, they can give him made up moves. When was the last time Julius did any move from this game in the actual games? Guy cannot even aim upwards or use hydro storm. I would be Ok if he was an alt of SCIV Simon or Chronicles Simon with minor alterations ala Hanz Belmont. Im not necessarily asking for a New Moveset for Simon, just my favorite look.

@@micrard2753i had to make an acclaration regarding Julius. He CAN whip upwards in Harmony of Despair. Since i have not played that game i only went with what i knew of Julius in the actual sorrow games. But yeah, its kinda frustrating that in a roster that has RONALD MCDONALD, DUKE NUKEM AND 2 TOUHOU CHARACTERS, adding the most iconic design of Simon (aside from the chronicles one) is out of the question. But that is the Castlevania fanbase for you, i only downloaded the Game and not even posted a single message on the discord.

Honestly, I feel more convinced that Simon from Castlevania Chronicles is the way to play Simon, as in my opinion.

You and me both. Unfortunately a large portion of people are more preoccupied with Smash Ultimate Simon "being an exact copy of Richter".
