Yep, just getting back into Ij2 and I realize there's so much I never learned. Definitely gonna need to re-learn the basics. I'm trying to pick up Swamp Thing, I'm a simp for mid-tier characters.
@Shujinkydink thanks for the advice bro, I really needed this as I didn’t know how to get into it the first time around and I’m a huge DC fan so, thanks for the tips I will definitely be utilizing them.
Omg thank you so much. I needed this ✊🏻Just got inj2 and transitioning from mk11 to this is veeeery weird. My main problem is the mobility, in mk11, the dashes feel rlly smooth and you can cancel your dash into block or buttons or special moves, whereas in mkx/inj2, the dashes are purely mobility based. It feels rlly sluggish to me but i love the game so far, that's my only complaint about it haha
@@kingfargo9578 So should I rely on walking as my main form of movement? I thought jumping but that probably leaves you just as vulnerable to be anti-aired
Thanks so much for this. I was looking in my playstation game collection and i found out that i got this game a while back on psplus. Im really enjoying it
For real if you are just starting up this game play casual matches don't go into Rank, Rank is filled with all the necro, teabagging Toxic players that never moved on , play versus or casual or against the AI.
@Shujinkydink I will definitely be utilizing these tips as well as the general fighting game guides from UltraChenTV which is the first attack series which, should help me gain the mindset to not only excel at Injustice 2 but, any fighting game I choose to learn as there’s usually from what I hear as a fighting game newcomer some general things that I can learn about the genre with injustice 2 that will translate to other games in the genre as well. Also, I would love to get some sets in sometime Dink, I’m a huge fan and I’m a scarecrow main and I figured, I know your a busy man as I believe you’ve said in the past and I believe he’s been on some videos before that you have a kid to take care of and your a busy man with life priorities on top of that but, whenever you get some extra time I’d appreciate it if we could get some sets in and you could help me identify what I could improve on. As it’s hard to know as a new player sometimes, what exactly I need to patch up as far as holes in my gameplay are concerned, I’m a Scarecrow main by the way if that helps if we can get some sets in every now and then when you do have some time free for some games.
Underutilized? That’s the most important thing on defense. It’s a basic, but advance once you knew “when” to push block. Example : like Batman/ Ivy trait. It’s very vital in this game at a above average level.
Thanks just picked up the Game last week after playing SFV and MK11 for two years. The Zonning is very anoying but I am learning Darkseid and his teleport is an excellent zoning counter. Can you do a character specific Combo guide. I presently use Grood, but then use Darkseid to counter zoners.
@@shujinkydink just finished the story mode, it fun, but i dont know what to do next, i think i will get my ass kick in pvp but playing again bot not very exciting tbh
apologies, i forgot to explain that. Forward + A (on xbox) Forward + X (On PS) we use 3 to indicate the lower button on both controllers since they have an X with different functions
i keep losing to ai at hard difficulty it gives me so much pressure and i can barely block them but medium difficulty is way too easy i dont even need to block and i can win easily
I came here to figure out what button you push to do the clash and he never mentions it but he tells you every other detail can somebody tell me what button it is.
Sorry I glossed over that, you press forward + right bumper or right trigger depending on your controls. I believe default is right trigger. You can only do it on your second health bar though
I know I'm not the only one who hates this type of combat games difficult for no reason there should at least be a setting to make combos easier I think combat like Naruto storm is better and more beginner friendly
can you please not use advanced fighting game jargon like "back 3", just use in-game terms so "back kick" in this example. that way, it'll be much easier to follow
no offense but this is a horrible video, you switch from numbers to PlayStation buttons when talking about moves and its annoying enough to learn this but then i have to figure out what you are talking about. play out your videos before recording them.
Just got this for 7 bucks on steam. Time to get bodied by the vets. Thanks for the tips!
