Honestly, as a long term watcher of the channel and new player of Mk11 (sort of) I can say that people can't just 'learn' how to play Mk11 from this video. It takes hours of practice with every character just to even be good at one character. If you want to be good at every character you need good memory and hours of practice on all characters. This video is very good at teaching the basics. Even taught me a couple things, very good basic (quick) tutorial video. But if you expect to be as good as Lolhounds or Super from this video then you have to sink a lot of time into the game to be good at the characters
I was born in 1991. The vast majority of my life has been spent playing every single Mortal Kombat game that ever came out but only as a casual player to have fun. I was just curious to see what this video was about and it showed me so many things I didn’t know about. So while I’m better than almost anyone, I know at the game I’m absolutely dog shit compared to anyone who’s even remotely good for real. This video is definitely gonna make me much better because there’s so many things I didn’t even fucking know about . I did like the frames. This clip made me try the keyboard out of curiosity. It is so much faster for entering combos and you don't have to worry about the that wretched accidental jump / crouch when you are trying to do back, forward, * movements.
Scorpion searing rage is fine but for sub-zero, thin ice has low potential compared to the other variations, Personally I love both the avalanche and dead of winter as they offer new ways to play. On avalanche, the ice trap offers so much potential, personally I put it when I have an opponents your constantly blocking, then a F2 into BF3 slide into them and AMPLIFY it to throw them into the icetrap, then I to a jumping 2 into B143 into another slide. And I use his DF4 AMP after F2 and if the enemy blocks it, DF4 Amp gives me a mixup and keeps me safe! Now Dead of winter has some other amazing stuff too but yea, I heavily recommend not using thin ice of subzero, any other variation is better. Let me know your thoughts and no offense to Thin Ice players, this is just my opinion and recommendation from my own experience.
The thing that's so crazy to me is how much easier MK is to Tekken. Honestly, Tekken 7 is the only game in history to make me give up due to how difficult i was finding it to get good. MK is like child's play compared to it. Even the longest combos are simple in comparison to a regular combo in Tekken. It's very refreshing because i can focus on positioning, defence and timing rather than being so focused on tiny little details that Tekken forces you to learn. Don't get me wrong, i absolutely adore Tekken and i much prefer watching it over every other fighting game, but MK appeals to me so much more as a player.

tbh, I get it. One hundred thousand percent. Mainstream consoles (and thus mainstream controllers) have absolutely terrible D-Pads. Getting a forward-jump off without using two fingers in claw-grip on the d-pad works like 1/3 times. I mostly use them for moves in Fighterz too, because a quarter-circle or whatever just feels less like a nightmare using a stick rather than using a d-pad where if it doesn't register a distinct right-down press in between right and down my move isn't coming out.
