With all due respect..Mr yinka ayefele should pay this man big time..
I learnt a lesson here..BELIEVE IN YOURSELF ...
May the good Lord send helper to you sir, your glory shall speak volume all over the world. Joel 2:25 God almighty shall restore all your wasted years by the power of most high God amen.
I always like how you calmly investigate, may your days be long sir
Bayo Faleke of fresh FM should come and learn how to ask questions from Dele Adeyanju. He (Bayo) needs to learn a lot about interviewing style. Dele you are doing well.
I watched this video 2 times and i keep praying for myself that may my agídí and lack of discretion not ruin my success. And may wisdom perpetually be my guide. It is well.
I get Agidi pass you am from Ondo state right now am regretting all my actions immediately I watch this video 😢
Agbaletu, you're absolutely great. I liked your ways of investigating and questioning. Thank you very much for this. By special grace of God, Pastor will be bless. We will try to help him, because l personally like Yinka Ayefele, and doesn't want his image to tarnish. Whatever can be done in helping Pastor, should be done. Thank you.
@Dele Adeyanju,
I want to let you know that you have no equal in this genre of Journalism. You are tactful, unbiased and comical in your approach when interrogating your guest. Surely, your page (TV) will be an archive for Yoruba music and musicians history for generation unborn to consult. As regards Pastor Emmanuel Kayode, I join him in praying for grace to fulfill on the mandate of God in his hand.
Everybody has talent to play soccer like Jayjay okocha. DELE ADEYANJU'S talent is to ask good question
As for me ,this man gave ayefele most of the sweet part of his songs that we like. This is one of the reasons I stopped playing guitar and adding my inputs into people's band because one doesn't get recognised playing supportive roles. The artists will get the glory and money for someone else's song.
I’m pp
O ga o 😮
Really 😳so so disheartening
Let this man put up his phone and account for blessings.
I so much love that song "Aspiration ",back then. The way people dance to the song then at parties was superb.I think the song was one of the best even till date, though it's an old song, you can't hear it and not want to sing it and dance to the song.
Wow! This is Sir Kay. He's a good guitarist. He used to play solo while I played tenor in some bands. He took me to Micho Ade, Bola Are on a few occasions. He led our team of guitarists at Wale's Band. Yinka and I were with Wale at some point. Sir Kay was all over Ibadan in those days.
This is an extremely emotional account. It is also another revelation about the imbalance in terms of treatment and relation between band leaders and their band members. I hope this cycle changes with all these revelations. Kudos Agbaletu for using your enviable platform to air these grievances and not-too-palatable experiences. Sometimes our love for the band leaders and music stars do not allow us to accept some of these unsavoury revelations, but, since they are not angels but human beings that are fallible and prone to error, calling them out to effect change is important, otherwise, we will also encourage errors and, in some cases, blatant inhumanity. Thank you so much Agbaletu, God bless you!
He gave Yinka Ayefele credit for the things he did right and complained about the things he didn’t do right . That’s how to criticize constructively.
Honest interview: Kayode Emmanuel speaks his mind. May all his heart's desires be granted by the Almighty.
I've heard about this man before. He is saying the truth
Well done for another excellent interview. Another wow!
Ayinla Omowura is one of the musicians that always acknowledged and recognized his composers and songwriters in his albums.
Talented people need to be appreciative and humble most especially to their bosses because most of them are controlled by their talents.
So surprising that even those we expect to be upright often disappoint. If indeed Ayefele treated this man in the manner alleged, he should make amend. May God grant him the grace to do so.
I don’t think it is an allegation, rather the interviewer led him to recall his experience and contributions to the work of Ayefele. Don’t forget that Ayefele was just coming up during those period in question. The fact is that the man was satisfied with whatever amount he was given then and he even mentioned that it was the best money given to him in his career as he was able to get himself together. Maybe Ayefele would hear this now and may likely do something extra, but don’t let us create problem between the two. Thanks 🙏
Remove the plank in your own eyes before removing the dust in the other person's
Really soul searching insight from this respected elder..I pray Oga Ayefele will help him as a compensation for the compositions he rendered.
Dean of investigative journalism. Dean of old skool ni mo ba ro de!
This man is a good composer. I enjoyed the interview.
Please Dele bring Yinka Ayefele, let's hear his side of the story
Clearly an honest man.
we are oft limited by our inability to bite the bullet - most times we are loaded with so much talent but unable to turn them into value-making potential. this man is limitaed by his own limitations.
And lack of structure that honours and gives financial reward to song writers
I Know this pst and his late brother, baba Dele.i was in secondry school at Itamerin
My name is Yinka. Sir Kay , Wale Thompson, Akin Ogunshumi (Akin Wonder), Yemi de Guy, Wale Lefty (Basist) were all together with Baba Dele Ojo. Wale Thompson started his band in December 1988 after the release and launching of Baba Dele Ojo's first gospel album. Just to chip in.
Nigerian music industry is so dark, black and evil!!!! So so sad that even when you think the good names those popular artists have, they will do good but they're evil! This country people need revival!
I love this program so much, it shall be well with you Dele
Mr Dele Adeyanju, thanks for this in-depth interaction wt this man. Pls we need you to follow up wt this man and Ayefele. He owes him so much. Awon users
E ku ise o Agbaletu, with this great talent of this Pst Kayode Emmanuel and no obvious success, there must be a spiritual undertone. All the same, I wish him success.
Wao..... he's been into music since 1980..…..!!! That's 44years gone......iba o.....I believe everything this Pastor is saying.....AGBALETU, weldone Sir and more grease to your elbow ❤❤❤...I was glued to the video from start to finish, luv the way this Pastor talks.....and May the Almighty God who makes way where there's no way surprise him... Amen
This video made me subscribe......I will go way back to view all the channel's videos
Yes, he stated playing since 1980 ,I stated my own Playing for Musicians since 1979, He pastor is my Friend playing together with Ayefele
Sweet experience na evergreen too ooooo
Honestly," honesty is the best policy!"
Watch words in my first year in secondary school during Ali must go era! Alagba, Oluwa ti si iwe iranti kan yin. Igbega Oluwa dara pupo.
You are awesome. God bless you more.
I just love Dele Adeyanju for his choice of questions.
This man needs deliverance. There are people like that if their father becomes Govrrnor they will not get or receive favour. He should pray hard for God's favour.
I concur.
You are just a small boy, you don't have the experience and knowledge of lide
It's just a matter of time, things will soon change for good sir. God is still on the throne sir
What a world! I suffer the same fate as this man…even among Pastors simply because I detest lying to people just to appease them. It is so bad that a very senior man in an organization lost my respect the day he advised me that “it is not all the time you tell the truth.” I strongly believe that this position is starkly against Biblical position and felt no decent human being should live on lies just to please others instead of pleasing God.
When a member of a band is very very good, the leader hardly want them to excel. They used to killed there moral in order not to out stand them.
I love this Dele Adeyanju interview techniques. He's very smart. He's able to get much out to the viewers
Interview his Ex band members in America.
This man should pray about his fortune
Possible Ayefele consult and he get to know this man head is what is hindering their traveling
This man should pray
Sir, Almighty God will send help from highest place to locate you Amin JESU ❤❤❤🙏
Dele, keep up the great work ❤
Iya wa nidi ise iranse, sugbon ti iwo ba ni suru, ti o si duro ti OLUWA nikan, ere pupo ni o wa nibe, ilorin OLUWA yio wa si imuse. Hmmmm many hidden truth will be open to all Nigerians this year both individuals and 0rganisations, all of us should make ammendments, 20k is too small, but I smell spiritual attack in both travelling and your upliftment, but I pray GOD ALMIGHTY ALONE will take you to your throne of destiny, The Kingdom of GOD will be our Grace, kip up your Godly work❤
We love to hear ayefele side
The pastor should display his musical prowess online, he would get breakthrough through that.
Agbaletu is is over 200 years old there is nothing anybody can say ............. he sabi everythng
I like him for not interrupting people he interviews.
@@Ola_Means_Wealth_Not_Hello absolutely... He's well trained . He knows how to bring out facts
This one deep ooo, may God help our musicians
This man is a Great Man and i hope Dr Ayefele will compensate him for his good job
I feel for Pastor Emmanuel.
Thank you Agbaletu for your indepth questions. Yinka Ayefele did his best for his band. Most pple don't want to wait for their time. I give kudos to Yinka Ayefele.
Jealousy made him left. He thought he was doing ayefele a favor. I feel for him sha. Look at Wale Thompson he brought to ibadan today.
😮
Honestly I think his impatient
Do unto others what you want others to do to you.
@@mubarakharyordenny5133He was impatient you said? For 14yrs? Especially considering his age. He who wears the shoes knows where it hurts
Why was he not paid well for his contribution to the hit songs of Ayefele that we know today?
@agbaletutv restructuring Nigerian music and curating history ❤.
This is a lesson to all masters of today, it may please God to turn the table. Joseph was once a slave to Potiphar, but in a matter of time, Joseph became the Lord of Egypt. A word is enough for the wise.
I know the pastor and his late brother..I was in secondry school at Itamerin
Love this man . But, he had the same opportunity with Yinka Ayodele, at least he also released an album. So, boasting that he is better than Ayefele doesn’t make any sense.
I’m very touched
This man didn't lie,he said good things about ayefele where ayefele do Good Abt, And he said negative things where Yinka ayefele Shld correct himself , For me Yinka ayefele still got liked 50%, good character to his band boy's, though theirs no perfection in humanity ... But you must leave something when the ovation is louded....
We have different grace. It just happened that Ayefele saw through your mind.
I listened to this interview twice and I pity this pastor Kay. However, I will love it if agbaletu can let us hear from ayelefe the reason for denianed Pastor Kay travelling with the band. And not allowed his help to reach him by not giving his phone number to the said helper.
Agbeletu you're simply the best.
Very good man
God increase you sir
I learned a lot from this man.
As much as a like broda yinka, even though he doesn't know me from Adam, due to the fact that I so much love his music,my words to baba Emanuel kayode is that, you only worked for MON,he is not sent to you as your helper, ajumoni o ko taanu, eni to olorun ma ran si eni,lo SE ni lo re.etujuka, ayo ti de fun yin sir
All the other guitarists are now based in UK and USA , the likes of Johonson Tao, Lekan , The guy that usually play Hawai (Lefty)
Dey wyne us, how u go send ayefele wey be star from day one of bitter experience let alone absolute praise era out of market
Nobody you’re useful to will want you to progress
Hmmmmm, I still agree with you, but I'd rather say not everyone you're useful to will want you to progress.
We still have good, progressive, and purposeful people, but they're so few.
Beeni, oluwa nikan ni nje ko yeni.
Very correct
'E tu Brute ' ...even Yinka Ayefele too😮
Like your post😂
Anyway it’s important to know that without a sustainable income having a car is a liability.
Mr Adeyanju! Pls I want to contact you sir! How can I get in touch with you? Pls get back. Thanks!
'Mo ma n ji owo e wo nigba yen ni' I commend your sincerity
I pity this Brother Kay, We all use to call him Brother Kay, Because we lived together at Orogun, Tokunbo Ojo street, In a 3 bedroom flat, He’s good with his Guitar, He use to play the Guitar every evening in the compound.
I’m a kid then and I could remember everything Vividly.
He was playing with Ayefele then I think, He even composed a track for Ayefele in Divine Intervention Album.
God works in mysterious ways. There are many that appeared better than David but they were not chosen. Your case requires divine intervention. God will attend to your case in the name of Jesus.
This man is just too proud and that is what led to his fall. if at all he gives songs to Ayefele, he is not his only composer. Layi Adis is a great composer as well for Ayefele. Layi knows his own worth. He made good albums as well. If he is so good as he claims he should have done many songs and excel as musician. If this guy continue in this manner, he may never make it even in life. By listening to his story, his problem seem to be generational and he should not bring Ayefele into his life problem. There are so many studio workers and instrumentalists who excel behind the scene of musicians. If he is so good as he claims he should have done many songs/Albums and excel as musician as the likes of Shina Peters who played behind Prince Adekunle as a re-known instrumentalist and later proof he can do it by going solo. Ire o .
I don't know your age, speaking against a man over 65 years and intrusion into issues that doesn't concern you might also put you too in trouble.
@@phillipabayomi828 I am disappointed in this kind of comment. Age? what has that got to do with this issue? UA-cam is a public forum and if you are not mature to comment peacefully, please plan your own trouble and get into it alone. I reject your negativity IJN
@@phillipabayomi828 As e dey pain you ,Na so e dey sweet me...
@@gabrielatilola200 , coming from a Yoruba man. Bad parentage is clearly outlined here.
@@gabrielatilola200 , apparently, crass and uncouth manner is definitely a loose end in your morality.
N20k for that big song! Ayefele didn’t treat him right.
20k in 2004 wasn't a small amount of money.. also, that's not the only song in the whole album, it's just one of the plenty choruses in the whole album. So I dont think that's a bad treatment from Ayefele
Dele Adeyanju Good Job ❤
👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
This man said Ayefęlę does digital music, that he can do better than Ayefęlę and that Ayefęlę needs to go to the next level etc. My worry is that the same Ayefęlę's music he criticises keeps selling like hot cake. I would have expected him to enter studio and do what he says he can do better than Ayefęlę. He can even put his music and phone contact on UA-cam for the world to see his capacity. Methinks Ayefęlę is smart enough to appreciate what people want to hear and he gives them. This kind of advice killed Lágbájá style of music when the latter changed from Ęfę or fàájì music to Oyinbo kind of music.
God bless you o 👏
Ayefele song isn't like before just check properly there's different nowadays
Which 'kind of' advice killed Lágbájá music?.
Lai adisa $ Okoto Jesu had covertly and openly complained on recognition & compensation too
Well, life happens; there are leaders and there are followers - choose the side you belong.
This is the Bible of our time , if you don't get it , forget it .
I think this man has spiritual battle, u can't blame Ayefele for not taking him with them , the man said they refused them 3 times his name was included and the first time his name wasn't there the visa was granted . Although he blames this on unpopular marketers
Those with clear mind will have better understanding of d whole scenario........ thank God you could fathom it as well
First of all, this man might have been called by God truly but everyone will agree that he didn't leave by God's instruction. He left because of his rift with OJA. Sometimes, people need to caom down with decisions that will have long-term effects. You missed about 10 international trips and you didn't ask your boss? I believe there's something he's hiding. Maybe that's why he told Agbaletu to forget about it.
Let's look at it together, great minds. You were with OJA and during that period, you said you were using different cars. You said you couldn't afford rent until you joined Ayefele's band. You also said he did better than any other artiste in terms of sharing money made on stage. These are proofs that some band members aren't just contented. Some of you believed that Ayefele was using your star. People poisoned your minds. But now that you've left, how useful has your star been? I'm sorry if I sound blunt, we just need good answers to good questions.
Secondly, I'm glad that the interviewer corrected you when you said you can perform better than OJA. Lol. We just heard your voice nah. You shouldn't even be in competition with your boss. Read the 48 Laws of Power.
Finally, I realised that UA-cam viewers are more rational than our Facebook people. Ẹgbọn Dele Adeyanju is doing what most presenters can not do. Astute professional! No interjection like that guy from Fresh FM.
Keep it up, brother. You're inspiring many of us.
God be with y'all.

Can we have this man
This pastor sold his glory to Ayefele. I wish him all the best
Ahhhh
Sincerely, it's a case of Jacob & Esau by letting go of his special song just because he wanted to be considered for abroad . My God Almighty will help him
Don’t judge, let heard from Ayefele
His details,to bless him
This man has not castigated Ayefele...he was only trying to answer the question from dele..... though it has shown in the interview that Ayefele has really shortchanged the man technically.......
I disagree with Pastor Emmanuel that if Ayefele had made him popular, he, Emmanuel, would have driven Ayefele out of the market. Never sir. At worst, you will be an upcoming, while, Ayefele would still continue to reign.
Kayode Emannuel ori string lo wa
In Something Else
Kodus to Adeyanju great 👍
Please this pastor should send his number for seed... Thanks
Lol 😂
This man can never send Ayefele from market
This man is a great composer but I believe he is too raw for Yinka AYEFELE.
Do you know this guy number?
@agbaletutv, please try interview Joshua Ayinla Odebembe, i think his experience is not that of exploitation, so these musicians dont think you a bent on exposing only their exploitative nature
😮 go to your page for the damage control 🎛️
Dele Adeyanju(Agbaletu) is the best. Justice for Pastor Kayode Emmanuel!
