You are right. We goofed on that comment about the 4 being lighter than the 2. The extra 6 grams found on the Xpresso 4 are due to the built in stainless steel wear plate that will extend the life of the pedal body.
I am currently selling a pair of new Expresso 4's. Why? It's not mentioned in this video but the leading edges of the pedal are razor sharp (see 1:29, the top right corner of the pedal). Not sure why Time doesn't simply re-engineer the molds for the composite. That said, I can recommend the pedals based on their functionality and durability but, if you have or are buying a pair, be mindful of the blades on the end of your crank arms. (Maybe smooth the edges with sandpaper?)

Very helpful video. Do the bearings change in quality as you go up the range, as well as the features you describe?
+Nick Blech I believe the bearing quality increases as well, but I will have to confirm with our rep. Great question!
Have they gone through ISO testing

Hello
What is the maximum rider weight that xpresso 2 can handle?
Mohamed Abou abed No weight limit on the Time Xpresso 2.
The Xpesso 2 is lighter than the Xpesso 4!
1:28 - "so it makes it a lot lighter"? Are you kidding? 2's and 4's weigh 112g both...
Hello
Is there a maximum rider weight that xpresso 15 can handle?
+Michalis Plytas Not to my knowledge. I would recommend contacting Time to confirm that though. Thanks for watching!
