Take the EMPTY bin home with you. Ex..C4 and C6 behind your shoulder…combine those (move the C6 label to C4 bin…that bin will be labeled both C4 & C6)…now you have an empty new bin give it a new label ex. K1. Then you list at home and fill K1 will all new items and place on shelf. Basically one bin can have multiple labels, yet you will still find items in C4 & C6.
I make a list on paper and list the sku later on the laptop which is faster because you can change it on the active listing page without opening the item.
Get a cheap walkie-talkie set, now you dont have to have your battleship sunken. your welcome 😂
Hold the item in one hand up to the bin it is going in. Snap a picture with your phone. Place item in bin. When I get home, I update the SKU from eBay listing grid because you can edit in-line on the grid without going into the actual listing.
That’s crazy to leave negative feedback because they regretted the jewelry lot purchase… what did they think, you were going to ship 8,000,000 Troy ounces of gold… they saw the photos, so they knew what they were buying… smh
I get 5x5 boxes for drivers and bigger head putters . They fit perfectly and if you stay under 48” it’s the same price as 4x4.

Take a photo of the item with the bin number and either put that in the listing or use it to fill in the SKU.

I think y’all need to figure out a way to touch the stuff the least amount of times to streamline it so instead of buying it, storing it, moving it taking a picture of it moving it storing it pulling it you need to streamline probably easier said than done but I know if anybody can do it it’s you too❤

Really enjoy watching y’all. I sell on eBay and have 2 booths. Instead of donating my inventory I’ve pulled I make a bargain basket and set on the floor in my booth. People love a deal and I can recoup some of your cost of goods and helps pay the rent. After 2-3 weeks I then donate. ❤
"It'll sell eventually"; I have been eBay for like 17 years, only been reselling seriously since July 2023. It always amazes me when items that I have had listed since then sells.
Since you're listing like items all at once, why not take two half empty bins home, move all the old stuff into one (while checking your inventory as you move stuff) and put the newly listed items into the (now empty) bin?

Use a inexpensive walkie-talkie, that should have a range within your building
You do not need to pay income tax on your personal items like the cell phone when you sell it. Figure your Cost of Goods as the sold price minus all fees. This will give you your cost of goods. You want a zero profit and a zero loss. Example: sold price is $100, Fees are $20. Your cost of goods would be $80.
I've been sick and lazy lol not listing any but one or two here and there . Getting a few sales but I really do need to up my game ! I can barely walk in my EBay room !! See you on the next one !

Forgot to say yesterday, we like you both just the same AND together! We used walkie-talkies at our indoor/outdoor business. It allowed us to walk away briefly, too, and worked great. you could also charge while using your phones on speaker for hands free if you have unlimited mins. I'm not a reseller, I watch for fun. You work very hard and are very organized. Working well together helps. Peeps DO like pewter! Brass & copper are selling, too, as well as pottery. I'm not a pottery fan, but it can be very valuable so pay attention to marks and the look. Stay well! Mama used to say this is pneumonia weather! Luv u two! Cats Meow

How about bring things over to storage but don’t add sku until you get there since you always have phones with you. Not sure this would be any easier or faster because you will have to bring item up on eBay to add. But two people would be putting items away vs 1. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

What if you guys consolidate a couple bins at the end of the week? Move 30-40 items and free up 3/4 totes per week. Take those totes home - list and fill. Bring the totes back full. Two birds stoned at once. Still have to periodically holler at each other when consolidating but it would stay more organized and the listing process can entirely be done at the house.
Could do the same thing with your open shelves. Consolidate one to empty and then you know any bigger items will land there when you get to the unit so you can pre-load the sku.

I think those who bought the jewelry didn’t look to good before the purchase. They must have thought you were adding some expensive pieces in there. Shame on them for the negative review they wanted something for nothing!

Since you are moving items from one place to another, could you not have either bags or boxes with inventory numbers on them. These bags/boxes would only be used for transport. And since you are listing like items at once, TBE sku number should be the same. Just a thought.

About the SKU admin. Have you considered using a piece of paper or a binder of paper and writing the SKU for each item as you do it and then adding it to the listing when you get home?
When you say "out of minutes", do you mean you don't have signal? Would a hotspot near the door work?
Maybe record or write down what's in each bin. When you get home update it.
Print your sold list out then mark it off

someone I watched bins them by what day they list them. So, everything you list that day would go into the same bin. It made perfect sense since you said you list the same like items in a day.
Seems like you could replace the two storage units with a small rental house so you could have power and internet or some office space or small commercial or industrial space. Be careful of the commercial price for power, water, and internet. It is always much more expensive than residential.

I had a storage unit for a few months, I much prefer it in home for inventory and pulling orders are far quicker.
Wouldn't a rent to own storage building be cheaper than renting storage units? And it would be at home.

Julian does pick these up but I would use such keywords as " Skilled tradesman Micrometers Starrett ( if app) size ( 1",2") speciality tool. For description: Calibrated, stored appropriately, ( how old) etc. Take good clear photos and use at least 10 pictures. Hope this helps
