- Kraftwerk-Numbers/Computer World (Live At The Tate Modern London 09/02/2013)
this is one of those tracks that never gets tired of listening to.
The greatest and most influential dance track ever recorded. The Fathers of Electronic Music. Kings.
I was fortunately enough in the 80s to see Kraftwerk twice, once at the Hollywood Palladium and once at the Verizon Amphitheater. Both shows were entirely similar, but boy you can't beat Kraftwerk music played SO LOUD, and the sound systems were both beautiful.
we will count the number forever
Just saw the 3D show this past weekend in Portland. One of the best shows I've ever seen. Total sensory overload.
That bridge to Computer world.. Simply amazing.. It gets me every time I hear it.
the HIP-HOP MUSIC AWARDS REALLY NEEDS TO HONOR THIS GROUP . AND IT'S WAY WAY OVERDUE . THEY CONTRIBUTED A LOT . SO LET'S RECOGNIZE THEM . DON'T LET THEM BE FORGOTTEN ! THANKS FOR POSTING THIS VIDEO.
they effectively invented dance music as we know it - albeit about 15-20 years before its mainstream inception.
These guys still has it...AMAZING! CLASSIC before it's time!
Before Skrillex, Deadmau5, etc....this is where it starts and ends. Brilliant.
This jam alone has contributed has contributed immensely to the world of hip hop, if it has not happened, hopefully Kraftwerk can be officially recognized for their contribution...long overdue!
agreed! kraftwerk has contributed to ALL electronic music up to this day they are the godfathers of new wave, house, techno and every kind of music where synthesiser is used in :) soooo far ahead of their time
kurt vanautgaerden well...not to academic electronic music...that was the one who influenced Kraftwerk (Stockhausen, Pierre Henry, Subotnick, et al)
@@cuerpoeperra by the way, subotnick directly to silver apples. 😉
My ultimate heroes.
Kraftwerk = Helden!
That shit STILL kicks ass..
Excellent concert Excellent camera work period!
It's so weird to see old people making this type of music. It's amazing.
as they invented this music, they were young... :-)
I was front row this and 5 nights in total. Incredible
Still as captivating as ever. The beat don't stop...
Great videos , cheers for the uploads
only one original member left.. What a pity..But still awesome music..LOVE IT!!!
Absolutely amazing!!
Kraftwerk is not about anything but the music. Here it is 43 years later and their music still sounds as new and exciting as it ever did. That's magic. It doesn't matter who operates the computer consoles. Clearly a fair amount of the music is not played live - and it doesn't matter. The pulsing rhythms and the gorgeous hooks fill the room. The list of bands who owe their sound to Kraftwerk is long indeed. Start with OMD and virtually all of the techno music today - Kraftwerk redone.
Just great.
Oh my godness, very nice theme!
first cut i heard is this when i was 18 or so back in 1981
Awesome!
a head of its time and still
No not really John check out the other members who have all been involved with Kraftwerk for many years !!! Henning Schmitz was their sound engineer back in late 70's and been playing with them over 20 years. Fritz Hilpert also since late 80's need I go on? Hardly a tribute band.
One day i'm hope kraftwerk have a concert on my country
very nice song, and... at 2:42 the numbers 242 come up, and we all know FRONT 242 is the best band ever!
My jamz....i breakdance to this
