tell you what, that solenoid is NOT easy to get to unless its a 3.6. It looks easy but what you can see there is the oil seal just - you have to do a LOT of disassembly to get it out!
There should be a metal shield that bolts onto the side of the head - you can just see the bolt holes between two of the coils - my bolts snapped last time I tried to take mine off - but worth seeing if you can refit your cover plates - they stop al the crap hitting the coils. Part number is 99610442502 (assuming a 3.4)
Should be heat shields fitted above those coil packs which gives them some protection from mud and dirt from the road. Mick 👍

You are missing your coil shields which cover and provide that protection as well as hear protection from the exhausts.
