It also works by renaming both weapons to numbers (0,1). The way you can glitch mods from other rows is by using the arrows. Example: the targeting computer is in second row on the missile launcher. Push the down arrow shortly after doing the scrap glitch. But before the glitched window appears. It's a insanely narrow timeframe though.
You should see a gatling laser firing guided missiles, it's a sight to behold.
Or the quad barrel fat man.
I can do the glitch but it doesn't shoot the nukes it shows the nuke but still shoots 10mm
@@RockenTravis the standard launcher doesn't work. You need the mirv (uses regular ammo and converts it into nukes) or the other addons, like piggy bank (uses piggy bank ammo)

Doing the second selection is actually very easy once you get the timing right, you just flick your analog stick down right after hitting modify and scrap. It’s a lot easier to get the timing right than the dogmeat dupe.
To take this even further you can put a hunting rifle receiver on a weapon and it will remove the barrel selection, doing this allows you to use the 3rd slot mods
I'll have to mess around with this and see if it's worth doing a follow up video on as a whole. Alternatively maybe I'll just explain it in any videos that I may do showing a specific combo of weapons used with the glitch that requires it. Would be cool to show off some of them I think.

Actually funny you mention that as plasma flamer barrel on an SMG is one of the first combos I did LOL.

I’ll top that! If you want to force glitch magazines or even attach mods from unscrappable weapons there is a method which you have three weapons named appropriately 01 02 and 03. The first weapon is sacrificed and is the type of mod you want I.E. receiver or barrel or in this case a magazine which it will only work with a harpoon gun. Next you basically do the motion of getting to the second mod slot only instead of flicking the analog stick, you press down on the dpad. You are only able to use the first slot in the harpoon gun which is the magazine. Your second weapon is the magazine you want on the third. It should look like you are going to force glitch and scrap the second weapon but if done correctly it won’t scrap 02 only 01. Now you will be in the magazine section of 03 but able to use 02’s options. This works with unscrappable weapons because it doesn’t scrap them only the first. Also as a side if you want to use the hunting rifle stock on something else. Do the hunting rifle glitch on another weapon then take another hunting rifle and force glitch the glitched weapon’s stock on the new hunting rifle and now it’s barrel should be wiped. Now you can use the analog flick to get its stock option on something else.
I just created an insanely op weapon, just put the powerful automatic receiver from a 10mm pistol on to a Tesla cannon.

I got the cosmic cannon from creation club, theres a mod to make it like Lorenzo's artifact gun and the firerate is low. I put an automatic receiver on the weapon which is apart of the knockback mod, and it doesnt change the gun at all. And the damage is crazy
I’ll give you guys a practical and usable recipe that is quite OP but not broken and can actually be used indoors. If you can figure out how to flick the analog stick down at the right time you can swap barrel mods or whatever is the second mod sot of the sacrificed weapon is. My favorite gun is a legendary explosive handmade rifle that had been glitch modded with an improved automatic laser barrel. That barrel will add the automatic effect onto the gun without needing the receiver to. This means you can put the advanced receiver on which had quite a bit more damage than the powerful automatic receiver but still retain the automatic status. Pair with the disciples paint, short scope and suppressor and you’ve got a good lookin and even better damaging version of spray n pray.
Not sure if anyone will see this but I just made a extremely OP and dangerous weapon with a minigun, so basically I put a plasa splitter barrel mod from a plasma pistol/rifle on the minigun, then I proceeded to put the targeting computer sight from a missile launcher to create a homing missile minigun, it HAS to be done in that order or it won't work, the recoil is so bad and uncontrollable it's hilarious, caution though it can get as bad as the mirv so it's best fired in small bursts, I don't know if it works on other weapons but I assume it will work on a few if a minigun is too much to handle lol
That sounds cool. Lots of UA-cam guys doing mirv mini guns and targeting computer shotguns but I like the out of the box ideas like yours better. Sounds like a cool gun
Do yourself a favor and rename the weapon you're taking from 0 and the weapon you're modding 1

I did an explosive legendary minigun with deep dish fun asf it had radiation and explosive and regular damage it was doing over 500 total dmg on a minigun which is awesome.

Just figured out you can add an electric blade to a deathclaw gauntlet using the mr handy buzzblade. It looks exactly like if a predator built the starship enterprize. Incredible. Just started glitching weapons yesterday. Havent done a mission in 6 hours.
Edit: i am getting better at it. My favorite combinations so far are the explosive 5.56 assault riffle and the 3 barrel missle launcher. It doesnt shot rockets, but increases the clip significantly and is stronger. I tried the 4 barrel but i couldn't aim and it made the gun automatic. Shot really well from the hip though.
Second favorite is the explosive and two shot combat rifle or combat shot gun with the tommy gun. Shots crazy fast.
Third favorite is adfing the gamma gun to things.
If what you described with scrapping is happening, it's due to what the name of the weapon is. Try swapping what you name them to something longer and or more random. You can also clear your inventory of whatever it's going to instead. As for the mods, they all may not work the way you initially expect them to. For instance putting a missile launcher barrel on a gun and it not shooting missiles. Usually the mod needs to be one that provides something specific and different, even to the gun it's normally on. For instance the barrel on a plasma gun that provides incendiary damage. Something like that would carry over to another gun you glitch it to and apply the same way. Ultimately though you just gotta do trial and error to know what works and is worth it.
you can combine the launcher's targeting card and combat rifle for full auto rocket launcher with a 40 mag capacity. unfortunately it didn't work with submachinegun. to select the second mod hold A and X (on xbox) and right after releasing both, press down on D pad.
Yeah I had seen a few people mention that kind of combo and gotta try it out still. I don't expect it will work flawlessly, but any amount of it working on a gun it's not intended to should be pretty awesome haha.

How it don’t work for me
Minigun and Shotgun are op and the DLC Handmade Rifle you can put a silencer on
Also if you don’t want to loot lock the explosive handmade rifle, the kiloton radium rifle works good too. It’s just not as pretty and the rate of fire is not quite as good. You can however force glitch a lever action rifle receiver onto it to not only improve the fire rate but also get a bit more damage too.

Gentlemen, I've formulated a truly powerful weapon capable of one shotting everything and doing so on unreasonably effective scales.
Unfortunately: This weapon is only accessable to those who can use a computer mouse.
The recipe for this weapon of mass destruction calls for:
An explosive combat shotgun
45. Cal reciever mod from a pipe pistol
An improved beam splitter from a plasma weapon
An amplified beam splitter from a laser rifle or laser musket.
You are free to add whatever extra modifications you feel will improve the weapon's performance, you're welcome
I loved using the Mini nuke Minigun in Fallout 76
Certainly wouldn't recommend it in this as like seen later in the video, it will flashbang / crash your game to the point that you're waking up at the start of Skyrim LOL.

I wish there were cool combos listed somewhere that you can do with first slot, AND second slot mod swaps. Everyone just puts a MIRV on everything.. that's so boring, and useless (i hate my loot flying who knows where).. I wish there was more info on what good second slot mods to attach are too!

You can also stack multiple different modes from different guns on to a single gun
I found an insane combination. This also works for melee weapons, so i used a super sledge as the base and the final upgrade for a baseball bat. It ended up with a little over 800dmg pr hit💀
Also, it seems that only mods that change the weapon's appearance are the ones that work. And since special weapons like the Cryolator can't be scrapped, there isn't too much to choose from. Anyone got any crazy combos they wanna share?
I haven’t done much with melee combos as I figured they’d be more limited, but that one sounds pretty damn nice haha. As for what mods it will do something from, it’s a matter of what mods actually change the way the weapon works. So for instance making it automatic versus semi auto. Making it shoot nukes or a different version of them like the MIRV. Or a plasma gun having a mod to make it do incendiary damage. Stuff like that. So there are a good amount of options.

Yeah I just prefer keeping my main weapon as whatever name it already is I guess haha. The idea behind having them next to each other and the one getting scrapped on top was made clear enough I think though.

Bullets only change for .38 receiver, .308 receiver etc. All receivers that actually change the ammo of wpns
You can make a rocket minigun on PS or Xbox first mod and quickly scrap wait like one second joystick down if done correctly d-pad right go down to Targeting computer make it

@@Creambread335 what mod are you trying to do and on which weapon? For a lot of the weapons changing the receiver won’t always do much. You kinda have to experiment different mods with different weapons until you find something that works well. Also I recommend trying the second and third mod slots as well. They require a bit more effort though.

@@Creambread335 You mean the MIRV? If so than it should work. Tbf I've has 2-3 people show they make the change seemingly correctly, but it doesn't actually effect the gun. I've personally not had that happen and the majority don't seem to either. I'm not sure what would cause it to only be visual, but I would recommend trying it with some other weapons. That was the inevitable "fix" for another one of the people having the issue you describe.
So could you take a gun like the “overseers guardian” and put on a 50.caliber receiver from a hunting rifle? Idk the logic on this glitch I’ve actually never seen it before and I’ve put 600 hours into the game
Can't think of why it wouldn't work for that combo. You'd just have to test it after to make sure it actually made a difference of course.

Don’t do the 50. Combat rifle it’s cursed beyond belief it removes the barrel and adds a floating bolt the left but hey it’s a two shot 50.

I happen to put a fat man with MIRV on Aturnis and it’s is very broken. Tip don’t shoot this indoors.

Great video. I am playing on PC game pass, instead of showing the weapon to be modded it shows an item in the next group, ie Rad-X. When I do the 2nd slot glitch it goes 2 item groups away, ie shotgun shell. They're named so the one to be modded is below the donor weapon. No changes happen the 2nd weapon when adding an automatic reciever Rad-x unfortunately. Using latest version for xbox one and PC
Sounds like you need to make both of the weapons named something more long/random. Alternatively you can try clearing your inventory of those other items appearing so that it can't jump to them rather than your weapon you want to mod.

Im on PC. I am using the same technique as duplicates glitch. I get the scrap screen and but the mid screen stays on the 1st weapon. When i scrap the weapon just scraps and doesn't go to the mod screen of the scrapped weapon. It basically just scraps the weapon. Amy suggestions?
What meant was the weapon just scraps as it normally would. The next weapon has its normal mods available

It visually changes the weapon but dosent do anything beyond that. Still just a pipe pistol
That happens sometimes. Would try with a different weapon is all. As you can see in the video, it definitely can actually change them. Just doesn’t happen sometimes for whatever reason. Hasn’t been reported to me a ton and it’s never happened to me so I don’t quite know why.
Does this work with any of the Club weapons? Haven't been able to mix the grenade launcher with the combat rifle, submachine gun or pipe rifle so far, and the nailgun doesn't mix either :(
If the weapon has a star like legendary / unique weapons do than you can't scrap them and take any mods from them to put on others. You can however mod things onto those weapons, yes.
@@DemonAsylum I know but I bought a non-legendary Pipe Grenade Launcher from Suggs' garage and tried to glitch that onto the other guns, but none of them shoot any grenades, same thing the rifles not shooting nails either

performing the glitch just instantly scraps the weapon above without giving you the option of modifying the gun.
Nah it still works. That happening is just a possibility based on your timing of pressing the buttons/keys.
@@DemonAsylum I’ve been playing with this glitch for hours now. It is truly one of the glitches of all time.
Important info you may want to share. The Glitch is tied to framerate. The reason I wasn’t able to pull it off earlier was because my PC’s framerate was too high (144). I switched to my laptop and at an honest 25 fps, the glitch was insanely easy to pull off. It even becomes possible to add any attachment, (scopes, stocks, barrels, etc) by switching slots very quickly. Shits cool.
The trick is you have to press A/E/X xbox/pc/ps right after you accept the scrap

Not sure what’s happening but so far the weapons I tried to scrap says “this item can’t be scrapped”. I did duplicate the weapon first though. Maybe that’s why? Will test out other weapons without duping first and comeback in this comment
You must have been trying to scrap a weapon with a legendary effect on it. Those can't be scrapped.

Someone help me, I don’t have ammo for the Piggy bank launcher that I glitched onto my 10mm pistol so now it won’t shoot. Do i have to get ammo for this to work or am I just doing something wrong with the glitch?

On xbox i cant get the menus to change. Closest i can get is just the scrap menu to stay up but the mod menu in the back dosent change or apper. Anoyone got any tips .. perhaps mr. Asylum maybe? Lol 🙏🏻🙏🏻👊🏻👊🏻
Just comes down to your timing is all. What works best for me as I believe I explained in the video too is holding down both the scrap and modify options (one finger on each) and then letting them go at the same time. That seems to yield the best chance at success for me. Before that I would just press them both at essentially the same time though technically the modify option has to trigger first so keep that in mind with whatever way you're trying to do it.

They don't appear in the armor workbench, and therefore you can't rename them :/

Ima try combining the piggy bank bomb launcher with a pistol. See if it can work. It worked and I made a death claw gauntlet with shock damage.

@DemonAsylum I even made a Lorenzo artifact shotgun. I tried to combine a missile launcher with the Deliverer pistol, but I'd only get the the barrel of the missile launcher and it still fired normal rounds. I tried with other weapons with the missile launcher to the same effect. Thinking the missile launcher doesn't like being combined.
Electric saws off the sledge are the best melee mod I've found so far.. (poison) ripper with electric sledge saws is my new fav melee weapon by far!!!
Technically speaking u can prob now have 50 cal machine gun lolll
For some reason when I do it, instead of a gun underneath [nr2] it doesn't show up on a gun to put the MIRV but instead a 10mm ammo
You can try more unique and lengthy names for your guns or if something you can remove from your inventory is what it goes to instead than you can just take it out and try again.
Guys, does this glitch work for the armed and dangerous trophy, too?
You would technically be creating a mod still so I would say yes. That's a pretty standard and easy to get trophy though so even outside of doing this glitch, you'll no doubt get that in due time anyway.

Hello, im trying to glitch mods as usual but something had happened that now it just doesn't let me the game keeps crashing or once i hit scrap, random items appear as mod and it doesn't attach to 2nd weapon. Is anyone having the same problem? Or how to fix?
I even try the usual with deep dish on a gauss rifle and same thing happens, random items apear or crash the game
If the item you have appearing isn't what you want than it has to do with what you're naming your 2 weapons. You need to have them identical (including capitals) minus 1 letter for whichever of the 2 you're breaking down. The video shows an exact example of this.
I’m trying to do it with the pistol and rocket launcher it works but the pistol is not shooting missiles
Couple of cases I’ve been told about where that happens. Try with a different pistol as using a different copy of the gun or a different gun in general seems to be the fix. Idk what makes it so a specific copy of a given gun just doesn’t take to the glitch, but it happens to some I guess. Personally haven’t ever had it happen.
Put the missile launcher targeting computer on stuff to change to missiles.

How do you add legendary effects to another legendary
Don't know of a way unfortunately. There is a glitch that lets you copy the legendary effect over to the SAME weapon type, but obviously duping the weapon would just be better at that point. So as far as getting a legendary effect on a specific weapon type or even more so a specific legendary effect on a specific weapon type, it's all down to farming for them haha.

I ended up getting it. You can use the conveyor and dogmatic for fusion cores since they come out one at a time.

Unfortunately I haven’t found a way to do that yet
I personally haven't even tried, but I would guess no as I don't think any of the shotguns have a mod that specifically modifies them in a way that makes it "shoot like a shotgun" if that makes sense. All of the receivers are more like standard versions of receivers such as that make the gun to more damage, have better fire rate, usual stuff like that. Nothing where like for a laser / plasma gun for instance, there are receivers that make your bullets do burning damage.
Can make a rocket shotgun or minigun need the Missile Launcher and the Targeting computer
Maybe with the separator barrel the plasma pistols can have? This glitch never changes the gums base ammo though (minimum even glitched will always fire minimum ammo)

Only the mirv works.. I really wanted a normal mininuke on my 10mm 25% + damage 😞 the nuke is pointless unless you wanna corrupt your saves
You can put the mirv on whatever gun and if you do it with something semiauto for instance, your game will be fine. Outside of the mirv, you can do it with many other mods from different guns such as the example I showed in the video.

That would have to do with what the names of the weapon are. You can either get rid of your 10mm and try again or simply name the weapons to something more random / long so that it doesn't alphabetically convert to something else technically closer such as what's happening for you now.
Everytime I do it, the Mod does appear on my gun, but only graphically,
I've seen a few people mention having that occur, but also that if they simply tried with a different gun or even just a different copy of the gun that it will work. Not sure what makes it do that for any X weapon. Literally has never once happened to me. Strange.
On the xbox one s the glitch is not working completely and you just shoot the weapon's normal bullets
Can you give some more detail than that? What 2 weapons you're doing it with, what mod you're trying to glitch over, and if you're 100% sure you did it all correctly?
I put the MIRV on a minigun but it still shoots 5mm ammo even with the mod. I can’t get mine to work
Try it with a different minigun or even just a different gun in general. I've seen a couple of cases where for whatever reason even if you seemingly do the glitch successfully, it doesn't actually apply the mod the way it does for me in the video for instance. However, people have been able to simply use a different gun or even just a different copy of it from duping in order to get past that.

Scrapping the weapon without getting to the glitched mod screen is just a matter of your timing. What do you mean by if it's "not working" though? Have you gotten to the glitched mod screen after scrapping a weapon?
It scraps the weapon and doesn't get in the other weapon so that I can't make this unique weapon

It’s not working for me either, like your mini gun nuke one, I do the glitch, I craft the nuke onto the mini gun, but then it just shoots normal bullets
@@TacoUwUz Does anything from what I do or the result of it (asides from bullets instead of nukes) seem different compared to things on your end? Are there any details you think might be related to what is happening for you versus what happened for me? Just trying to figure out why it would let you do everything correctly, but then wouldn't provide the same end result.
@@DemonAsylum the only thing I’m thinking it could be is that I can’t craft the mirv nuke yet, and that is the only nuke that has a front barrel that comes out of the mini gun causing nukes to come out. Cause when I do it with a normal nuke. The nuke itself sits on the back of it thus not shooting them
