Fitz is one of the most complex characters of this show. He started out as an engineer with no field or combat training, who suffered a lot mentally, becoming his own worse enemy, learned how to disarm and fight opponents, being shield's top engineer and biggest brain, and becoming a loving husband, father, and grandfather (deep down he loved Deke). He retired from shield just to be with the family that he has created and live a normal life away from all the dangers that shield brought to him. He will do anything for the people he loves. He is one of my favorite characters and Iain De Caestecker did an extraordinary job bringing this complex character to life.
Going from a pretty generic tech guy to one of the most developed character of the entire show, a true representation of Agents of Shield having the best storytelling and character development of Marvel Television. There are so many of his scenes that I have watched over and over again because it is that good. Phenomenal work. Can't wait to see the evolution of his "partner."
My one major regret with the AoS series is that neither Coulson nor Fitz got their chance to lift Thor's hammer and prove their worthiness because it's super-clear they were every bit as worthy as Steve Rogers.
OMG YAS! I feel like Fitz changed so much throughout the years and the writers put him through SO much trauma. I was so satisfied when they finally gave him the ending he deserved.
The scenes where Fitz is ok with killing the centipede soldiers and the breakdown after finding out ward was hydra. You can tell he started tearing at the seams. He was always broken the accident on started to snowball after.
Oh my god Fitz is magnificent. And it would sound weird but I kinda love all what has happened with him. All tragedies and pain have made him himself. I don't know I think that this type of characters with bittersweet history and development through traumas is the most enjoyable. And of course it's the acting of Iain De Caestecker - I've fallen in love I swear. I just love that "do something" scene so much - it really shows what a brilliant actor he is. I hope we'll see him in a lot of good tv-series and movies that will let him to show all his abilities and talent. I love him and miss Fitz. P.S: and of course thank you toastyin for such a wonderful video! I'm so glad you've made it!

Right on! It's been amazing to see how he's been in some of the most traumatizing events of the show but has continuously found ways to overcome them.
My favorite version of fitz was the doctor, shows how dangerous he really could become if he was more serious
I love how at 7:35 both hunter and coulson ere both completely ready for fitz to snap like he did.
We Came For Coulson and Stayed For Fitz
😉👍🏿
Literally. We came for coulson and stayed for the bus kids
“But I am different and I’m trying not to be but I am” hits different
i will never *not* cry during that "Do something!" scream

Nah, Coulson sure, but as much as I love Fitz, he isnt pure enough to be worthy
@@youarein1ov3yeah especially what he did to skye/daisy in one of the seasons (5 or 6)😊
Damn. I miss him. I miss this show.
Just hope we see these characters show up on the Disney+ shows, that would be everything.
Well, Iain has said he wouldn't return because he liked how the story ended for his character.
I don't cry because of tv shows, but Fitzs death....and the DO SOMETHING!!! scene.
Man that dude can act.

OMG FITZ WILL ALWAYS STUN ME WITH HIS CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
I love the character development fitz had from a nervous wreck of a guy who could barely hold a gun without shaking to the badass brain of shield
Fitz simmons are one who saved the team so many times, idk what would the team be without them.
They are the one who put them in risks..
Fitz Face at 3:05 when he saw the warning and revelation sky left behind that reaction always breaks my heart 😢
