Islam promotes gratitude , for the muslims - this video is important to you. Allah tells us in the Quran that we shall be rewarded for showing gratitude: 3:145 "... If any Do desire a reward in this life, We shall give it To him; and if any Do desire a reward in the Hereafter, We shall Give it to him. And swiftly shall We reward those that (serve us with) gratitude".
3:22 is very relatable. Im only a new subscriber, so I haven't applied most of Hamza's teachings yet but I do ocaasionally think deep within myself and ponder about my life. I am extremely grateful for the bad things that have happened to me. They are the reason for who I am. I am not at all close to achieving my goals but I am proud of who I am. And I am who I am only because of the cumulative life experiences that I've had (bad and good experiences).
I've been doing this in my mind for years. I've always been grateful for getting bullied because it got me into self-improvement. I've never done journaling on paper or computer though, only in mind. But the problem maybe is that it's easier to get lost in your thoughts, so you spend a lot of time thinking, the thing I like is that I've been doing it without someone telling me it. I haven't been grateful for leaves and stuff like this though, only for actual things that have given me something to appreciate. Bullying, my father's mental and physical health sacrifice by working at a construction job for years apart from us in another country, alone just so he can give us(me and my brother) the proper education, even though the devil on my shoulder sometimes tells me but it's because he didn't educate himself enough to work a more normal job, I still don't feel entitled because there are a lot more people in the same situation as me(and I know them personally) that don't have the same dedicated father as mine, to fulfill his role as a good parent.
Deep journaling: Setup Why am I thinking of that? Write for as long as you want to Why am I worried/having anxiety about this topic. Write for the writer, write for the moment. Simple question: ”what does this mean”, ”what will i do about it” etc.
is it okay if i changed the note with a video journaling?, so everytime i have thought for something that i feel grateful for, ill just grab my phone and go record myself talking about that things or this deep thought that popped up in my mind
Thank you, Hamza. I've been going through your videos, looking to start my self-improvement journey. As someone who never had a father figure or older brother, I appreciate you. I hope to play NRL (australian rugby) one day; I have the potential but have dedicated myself to nowhere near the extent I should have. I'm 17 so I still have years to come, but if I make it and you see me on TV, remember the influence a UA-camr can have. Specifically, the influence you have, Hamza.
Man I’ve been journaling for month now and I see improvements, me and my mom would get into arguments and she would yell I wrote it down in my journal and saw what I can do about and small adjustments that can improve it, after a bit of realizing what I had to do which was to be quiet in the mornings and analyze when I should not argue, then the arguments and yelling went mostly away, there’s other things that improved but that’s been the biggest one, I will continue journaling. For the bottom of my heart thank you hamza.
im turning off the laptop and going to the little market near my house to buy a new book and pen for journaling right now. ill also reply to this comment after some progress to see how it went. My thoughts are indeed tangled earphones and i wish this helps untangle them
I asked "why can't I talk to people in the gym and they must engage me first?" I ended up in a rabbit hole of "beep-boop can't blame a robot for doing what it is supposed to do, initiate talking to human not authorised"
Hi Hamza, My partners son came home tonight and told us about yourself and that he was going to start meditating, breathing exercises and keeping a journal. Uhhhh, I woke up about a day ago but I when to a certain *hub* and before I looked at anything my brain went, "oh, I need to gratitude journal first" I've been doing this for about two weeks now
@@Hamza97 Last 2 days. I usually wake up and take a piss though. Lol! Just working on Gratitude Journaling, Shower, Teeth, Tongue and Mouth cleaning stuff for now. I'm gonna work on the deep journaling when I get a better notebook than a Graph Paper one. Lol! Also, not sure how to do Deep Work with my current level of skill with my chosen work type, since I'm fairly new to it. I guess I could apply that to learning then? Anyway, thanks, Hammie!
For deep work just make sure you have 100% focused, 0 distraction blocks of work in any task that you choose. Ideally it’ll be output before input in the morning. Produce first, then consume
@@Hamza97 Well, that can be very challenging considering the setup of my apartment, with my Playstation being in my living room, where my PC for my work is (which I rarely play but my Cousin plays when he's not cleaning, making dinner or sleeping.) yet, I'm doing the best I can on day 3. Getting to my work.......now. Thanks again for the videos and the responses, Hamza. You're the man!
No matter the limitations that we have, we always have the ability to maximise our potential. It would be easy for someone in your position to throw their hands up and say they won’t get into deep work. But you’re trying to improve, you have my respect for that. Maximise as much as you can brother
Hey Hamza Is the deep gratitude journaling an everyday thing too like regular journaling is? Or is that more of a weekly thing, etc. sorry if you said this in the vid and I missed it. LOVE YOUR VIDS BRO. CONTINUE TO INSPIRE US
I think deep journaling is when you need it most. When you have been having this ongoing thought coming in and out for a while, and you can't control it. When you're at the gym, at school, reading, this one thought keeps coming back, but when you're actually bored you dont give yourself the time to think this thought out because you get yourself out of boredom quite easily. I think deep journaling is a deep long session of introspection. Look at yourself from within, diving deep into this thought, the deepest u ever can, yk why am i feeling this, is this an external or internal problem, when did I start feeling this, you ask yourself these questions while writhing. No distractions, just you, a writing tool, some paper, and some tea or music, its all up to you, see what works best, but no distractions. The reason why this thought keeps coming back is cause of distractions. you dont give yourself time to explore this thought or feeling. I know that regular gratitude journaling is just writing what you're greatful for. simple as that. just watch the video over again, everything that i just said is in the video, just focus on the video
Right after that video i just did deep journaling the first time in my life and it was amazing. As soon i was writing down one thought it was basically out of my head the second after. I feel free and empthy now after writing down almost 10 sites. Thank you brother
I am grateful to know you hamza. You're the reason I started kickboxing after I got my ass kicked You're the reason I meditate after I had endless anxiety You're the reason I started gratitude journaling You're the reason I'm writing this now I love you ❤
8:22 - When mentioning fingers hurting - consider a proper roller-ball pen with refill ink (especially worth it long term if you plan to write a lot), I remember in school I used to have a callous on my finger from how hard I pressed my pen because I needed a solid line when I was writing so I had to hold a tight grip to press down hard enough with a ball point. Now at work I can loosely hold a roller-ball pen and writing is actually a genuinely enjoyable feeling when taking notes etc rather than feeling like a chore. The pen just glides so nicely it's genuinely enjoyable.
If anyone is wondering.. Rollerball just refers to the type of ink and pen point, the ink is much more fluid and so flows off and leaves a stronger more defined line. You can find some quite cheap (~£30) and then remember cost of refills (so check those when/if buying). The pen I use is a Cross "ATX Sandblasted Dark Blue Rollerball Pen" - and funnily enough, is something I am grateful for.
You seem like a pro. How do I stop writing like there is going to be an audience, like as if I were Anne Frank or something, my school work has me trained to write to an audience and idk how to stop. Advice?
@@Aperson84782 I have a feeling you have a specific idea in your mind of "audience", as in a collective of people, like you would see a comedy show. I'd say to re-frame your definition of audience. When I'm writing an email, the 'audience' might be my boss, in which case I'd write a semi-formal, succinct email and leave out unnecessary details. Another audience could be my colleague I'm very friendly with, so I wouldn't shy away from being a bit less professional, using various slang or abbreviations and starting the email with "Hello mate" I myself could also be the audience, say when I'm writing notes - only I need to understand it and it's generally bullet points, with abbreviations, possibly some sketches or annotations. In that sense, you're still adapting your writing to "an audience" but you simply need to consider what's appropriate in the situation, also considering the topic. It still very much is "subject x audience = appropriate wording + style"

Growing.

- 00:00 📝 Understanding the Importance of Journaling - Journaling provides clarity and introspection. - The ego often dismisses journaling as unnecessary, but it can benefit everyone, especially those who overthink. - 00:20 🙏 The Power of Gratitude Journaling - Gratitude journaling significantly enhances happiness. - It encourages the recognition of simple joys and fosters a habit of gratitude. - 02:58 📜 How to Practice Deep Journaling - Deep journaling aids in managing anxiety and self-discovery. - A consistent setup is crucial, using focused questions to explore recurring thoughts deeply.
He starts of by saying paper is better, also for gratitude journaling, which is logical ofcourse He explains how to write a gratitude journal, write down what you’re grateful for. Deep journaling: have a consistent setup, think deeper about some deep topics that you don’t take the time for during the day. You write the thoughts down, in that way you “save” the thought. It’s basically talking to yourself, talking about thoughts you’re having, you’re having a conversation with yourself and that way you can learn from yourself. Don’t write for the reader, write for the writer. It’s not for your future self. It’s for spilling your brain's thoughts on paper. It’s not meant to be read. It’s okay if someone reads it but that’s not its function. You have to ‘feel’ your fingers when journaling. To be honest, this is the video I needed, now I know how to journal, or should I say, Deep journal. I am glad that I finally know how to really do this, cause I’ve been jut describing my days since november. That’s a diary, not a deep journal. Very helpful video.
1)Wake up in the morning and be ready with pen and gratitude jounral. 2) write couple of things you are grateful about mentioning date . You can start with 3 sentance. 3) express gratitude about everything you had in ur life, like traumatic moment or something that changed your life or simply a water bottle.
I'm so grateful that you came to my life, you have solved many of my life problems during my selfimprovement and I'm very thankful what you have given me, you have my trust, your videos are wery enjoyable and I haven't had a moment to write about this, you migh not see my comment but in the end of the day, do hard work, specialy when you don't feel like it 💋
If you are on the fence about this, here is my recommendation. Run yourself a bath (or take a long, long shower). Leave your phone elsewhere powered off (apply the same policy for any other distractions), no music, audiobooks or podcasts, and just soak for a while. One of two things is going to happen: 1) You sit there and your mind is absolutely blank. No thoughts occur. You feel relaxed and present. 2) You sit there for 5 minutes, saying you are bored and then all of a sudden you notice that you've not actually been present but rather lost in your own thoughts. Even when you notice this happening, you will find that you slip back into the same thoughts roaming around in your RAM. This is how I discovered that I needed to write my thoughts down. I hope that we all make it ❤️
I started jounaling a few days ago. On the second day I was excited all day for the evening, when I could take the conversation. I see my journal as a different part of me, which acts kind of like another person. I now get why it is stereotypical to start the entry of with 'Dear Diary'. You get to tell the diary what you did during the day, what you have been thinking about, and where you want to head in the future. It held me accountable, when I wrote that I would do a task the next day. I felt obliged to follow through, as if I had made a promise to a friend. Excuses are nullified. Would highly recommend. I'm gonna go write my journal for today.
My thoughts are so confusing unorganized and scary I dont know where to start fixing them I have tried journaling but before I put something into words I dont agree with my own phrasing anymore. I just want to feel unburdened inside
I'm so grateful for all you've learned to me. Thanks, Hamza. I have a question. If someone can respond, I'd appreciate it a lot. Can i write in my journal a lot of bad thoughts? I feel my journal is full of them than good thing I'm thinking I mean, there's a lot of things I've experienced with. When I write I focus on the bad thoughts and feelings I'm having, is this good or bad?

"Because you have to actually hold the pen like a dumbass because you haven't held a pen in three years" 🤣🤣 This is so me.
I am grateful for finding this video, thank you Hamza! I will definitely try it
3:22 is very relatable.
Same, I'm grateful for the years of depression I have experienced because being at rock bottom is what motivated me to get better
0:52 gratitude journaling

I legit can‘t deep journal bro
I’m sticking to gratitude journaling
Deep journaling:
Setup
Why am I thinking of that?
Write for as long as you want to
Why am I worried/having anxiety about this topic.
Write for the writer, write for the moment.
Simple question: ”what does this mean”, ”what will i do about it” etc.
I am grateful for this knowledge you gave to me
is it okay if i changed the note with a video journaling?, so everytime i have thought for something that i feel grateful for, ill just grab my phone and go record myself talking about that things or this deep thought that popped up in my mind
Yes of course. if that medium gets it out of your head, go ahead
My thoughts are indeed tangled earphones and i wish this helps untangle them
How's the progress bruh💪🏻
Bro you realy be the modern Marcus Aurelius, i love it.
I asked "why can't I talk to people in the gym and they must engage me first?"
I ended up in a rabbit hole of "beep-boop can't blame a robot for doing what it is supposed to do, initiate talking to human not authorised"
Hi Hamza,
My partners son came home tonight and told us about yourself and that he was going to start meditating, breathing exercises and keeping a journal.
He's only 14 and has struggled with his confidence.
I'm writing to you as his step father to see if you would private message him to give him a further boost of confidence.
I know it would mean allot to him. What would be your preferred contact method.
Much appreciated,

I hope, Hamza will see it in one day. Don’t lose hope, there are many comments
I disagree its not for the future to look back on. But i agree with writing it for yourself.
When i deep journal, i often look a month later all stuff i written. And i think by myself WTH i grew big time! Or holyshit im going down wake up call! Reading your journal back is like a epic reflection. Its a key for me.
I think itw safe to say that journaling has SAVED ME from sooo much......I recommend to anyone sufferng from anxiety or depression.
Hamza thank you, after I got done writing my first page of my journal,I’ve shead my first tear of greatness. I know this sounds corny but I started bawling after realizing I have internal issue that I can help by writing so hamza thank you. And I will join you on your journey on being a better person.
Uhhhh, I woke up about a day ago but I when to a certain *hub* and before I looked at anything my brain went, "oh, I need to gratitude journal first"
I've been doing this for about two weeks now
I am grateful for this community and feeling of brotherhood.
Bro thank you
I just finished my first deep journal session and it took me 1½ hour consant fast writing
Just watched this and the Daily Routine again so I could take notes and start doing this daily. I need to do this.
It's been 24 hours. Did you follow the routine today?
I am so happy I stumbled across this channel
Oh my favorite pen 🙂
Journal every day!
God bless you all
Hey Hamza
Is the deep gratitude journaling an everyday thing too like regular journaling is? Or is that more of a weekly thing, etc. sorry if you said this in the vid and I missed it.
LOVE YOUR VIDS BRO. CONTINUE TO INSPIRE US
i want to know as well!
You're the reason I started kickboxing after I got my ass kicked
You're the reason I meditate after I had endless anxiety
You're the reason I started gratitude journaling
You're the reason I'm writing this now
I love you ❤
I’m grateful for God giving us gratitude
I don’t think anyone should be grateful for an abuse. Apart of that, amazing content!
You can be grateful you experienced something so that you can recognize and qvoid it in the future. Everything can contribute to your growth
Thanks Hamza, you have helped me a lot
Another audience could be my colleague I'm very friendly with, so I wouldn't shy away from being a bit less professional, using various slang or abbreviations and starting the email with "Hello mate"
I myself could also be the audience, say when I'm writing notes - only I need to understand it and it's generally bullet points, with abbreviations, possibly some sketches or annotations.
In that sense, you're still adapting your writing to "an audience" but you simply need to consider what's appropriate in the situation, also considering the topic.
It still very much is "subject x audience = appropriate wording + style"
@@pixelgreen5837 nah more like Anne Frank or something, like in the future people are gonna read it when I’m dead or something like that yk.

I just started self improvement a week ago i was pretty fat too. I started going to the gym 6days a week i have also been meditating for 20 minutes a day. I also have started doing gratitude journal. I will keep going i want to become more masculine and be jacked i was also looking for some martial art to learn will probably go with boxing or karate. Hope i can change for the better i will come back every three months to update this as a reminder for myself
Keep it up 👑
Very grateful to god that I found this youtube channel,
Very grateful that hamza started his own self improvement journey,
Very grateful that hamza motivated me to realize what I've trying to do all these years in disguise was various forms of self improvement and is not bad to go onto it and not selfish,
Very grateful that whenever I think "No this shit can't be true" when he says it in his recent videos true, I mostly see examples of it all around me happening in real life, and it like send me into a spiral about very minute things, but yeah, I'm learning. Growing.

I've been watching Hamza from over 2-3 months now and Bro literally there was a phase (for 1-2week) when then things i wanted answer for came in you daily video ( it's recently when you've been consistent on daily basis) like the titles made me realize my question has been answered like "she should not agree with all the time" and "dont leave your friends" and many more
i can say now that i was on the right track before too but that push was way far for me your channel and your content is like a bigbrother i always wishes i had.
Now i'm going back to basic to start fresh doing the dopamine detox
meditating
Journaling
exercise
and becoming a better version of myself
thanks you Hamza ❤

Even I'm grateful for finding this youtube channel, really changed my life and how I see it. Thank You so much! :)
Even before watching your videos , I was Deep Journaling on a few days when I wanted to share my thoughts but I don't know who to tell so I wrote them in my book. It was some personal things that I kept wondering about and I still wonder about but I think it feels better to write it down than to just keep thinking about it
how do you deep journal i have no clue
@@jamhut7562 Basically I just rant how I felt about certain things( this was usually when it was late night when I was tired and more honest to myself). Like how I feel about people which I can't tell anyone about but now I am a bit more honest than before I think so I share my daily moments, daily thoughts like now what I can remember is being very grateful for spending time with my best friend, our bond has been strengthened. There is another thought I just remembered. I saw an old video of me and my bro, I was enraged at my brother when I was saw the video, I won't go on details but basically you can consider the diary a safe space for your thoughts lol. Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the late reply, just came here to re watch the video , Have a great one my guy

My problem was writing for the reader, not for the writer. It's VERY AWESOME that you mentioned that we should just write our thoughts. You just earned yourself a new subscriber!
What have you changed exactly with this information? I also found my self "writing for the reader" but i dont know what to change exactly. I feel like i am overthinking, but your answer might help me.

thanks man you've really helped me start to turn around a pretty mediocre life. Still a lot to achieve but sure I'll get there !
He starts of by saying paper is better, also for gratitude journaling, which is logical ofcourse
He explains how to write a gratitude journal, write down what you’re grateful for.
Im grateful for hamza
1)Wake up in the morning and be ready with pen and gratitude jounral.
2) write couple of things you are grateful about mentioning date . You can start with 3 sentance.
3) express gratitude about everything you had in ur life, like traumatic moment or something that changed your life or simply a water bottle.

I am grateful for Hamza's video which taught me to be grateful. No seriously, thanks.
Hamza, I've subscribed to this channel just to see you shirtless. LOL. :)
bro you're so wise thank you. I'm greatful for finding this channel!
This very cool n' all, but, I just realized something. Hamza and I have the same closet. Isn't that amazing?
One of two things is going to happen:
1) You sit there and your mind is absolutely blank.
I am grateful for finding your videos Hamza.
Oh my god
I'm so grateful for all you've learned to me. Thanks, Hamza.
I have a question. If someone can respond, I'd appreciate it a lot.
Can i write in my journal a lot of bad thoughts? I feel my journal is full of them than good thing I'm thinking
I mean, there's a lot of things I've experienced with. When I write I focus on the bad thoughts and feelings I'm having, is this good or bad?
