Hello everyone! Please tell me, on the HT-A7000, where the side paired speakers play only one speaker at the edges, the neighboring one is silent, that is, one speaker plays on the left side of the soundbar and only one speaker plays on the right side of the soundbar. I tried to run content 7.1.2, the same thing, I already started thinking that it was a marriage....It's always been like this, only now I'm starting to think. What's wrong? It seems that the HT-A5000 is not inferior in this regard, since there are no paired side speakers that work at half..
Would like to see a review on the Sony HTA9 with the SW5 sub. I've heard this unit myself and was quite impressed by its ability to give you a movie like theatre sound with Atmos effects.
Inhave my be against a wall and I these in my bedroom. Would the rear speakers be ok on each of my nightstands? They'd be beside me, and not behind me... Or should i justs stick with a the sound bar
Hi, I am Bhushan from Mumbai, India. I have the same system, A7000, RS-5 and SW-5. I am not getting surround effect at home which I experience at Retail outlet during demo. Sony technicians are saying that my TV is old model of Sony which is not having eARC port and that's the reason I am not getting surround effect. Our TV is just having ARC Port. Is this the real reason for not getting surround sound? Please answer. Thanks
Hi tech steve i have been following your program and there great coz you reveals prodacts and go deply am giving your a five stars on that i have a request plzzz review a von Smart tv and if possible give it a comparison
Hey tech Steve do you have a better view of the way you set up the pieces of wood do you were abel to put the sound bar on top? I’m having the same issues that’s why
Hello . I have bought the full system the HT A7000 with sub woofer and RS5 rear speaker . But the sound from the rear speaker is below par . Rear speaker sounds really low.. please suggest what I can do to improve the sound from the RS5 rear speakers
I have the X95L too and my room is a mediumish rectangle room that is half Dining room so it's quite odd. I think a soundbar would suffice. Is there a big difference between the a5000 and a7000 and should I definitely buy a Sony soundbar as it syncs with the TV? I'm quite confused as to what soundbar to get..
With a Bravia you can add a 3.5mm connection between the soundbar and the TV and it will incorporate the TV’s speakers into the center channel mix with the soundbar. I just upgraded my Tv so I can now use this feature and it really does enhance the center channel.
I have been trying to find answer to this question but could not. How many surround speakers I can connect to this sound bar. Say I want to connect 6 surround speakers. Is there such a thing? 😊
Hey Steve, did you enable 360 audio as well as any other features you recommend turning on or off? I have the full hta7000 system but feel as if I’m not getting a good soundstage. Thanks!
@@TechSteve HTA7000 with rs5 and sw3. All up to latest firmware. I have 360 reality enabled, and immersive ae. Rear volume on max, and I properly did sound calibration. Using a95k center channel too. Any input on settings I should enable or disable?
Very high end soundbar w rear speakers, but its way overpriced at $2500 or so if you want the 3 best components. You can get a whole new tv with that. Wish Sony would bundle the speaker together like soundbars have always been
It is competitively priced with Sonos. It goes on sale pretty frequently also. If I'm going with Sony for a premium soundbar though, I'm looking at the A5000. It isn't that much further behind the A7000, and is significantly less expensive.
@randallsmith2521 I don't know if Sonos has their soundbars and accessories on sale as much Sony does. At least for the arc product outside of big days like black friday.
It wasn’t sponsored, they gifted me the Product to do and say anything I wanted. Sponsored videos have to be submitted for approval and has very detailed specifications that you have to cover with a contract
Connect the system to your wife network, then download Sony music center, select the system, then settings , sound and Voice Up! For better voice quality!
Nice comprehensive review. At one time I was considering this complete system to complement my A90J, but it seems that it has not been well received among enthusiasts so it's a pass for me.
heard this bar is trash - mids are recessed, dialogue is low and gets lost in action scenes, using voice enhancements just boost treble and sounds harsh at loud volumes, the bar does not get very loud and using adjustments such as auto volume just keeps the sound "even" which offers no dynamics.
I disagree and have been using it for a few months, I admit when I got it I wasn’t impressed but they sent the firmware update it excellent now. The trick is that you have to calibrate your room and some people may just do a plug and play. Who know but speaking for myself I’m happy
I installed this system in my house but no matter what i was not able to get soft dialogues out of it. Finally returned it. Its such a waste of money. Better to get avr and a hometheater speaker set
I use it and the dialogue is great for me but I’m using the 85X95L with that Bravia sync it must make a difference. You have already returned it so it doesn’t matter now. Happy Holidays
I think its ridiculous to pay that much for everything separate regardless of how high end it is theirs no way to defend it sorry I'd go with the samsung q990c , the lg s95qr, or nakamichi Everything is with those three soundbar surround sound systems And all three systems are good 👍

In sound sony has the technology
For anyone in the market for a soundbar system right now, i just picked up this exact bundle at Best Buy for $1800! Couldnt be happier with it.
Did u get the Subwoofer too?
I couldnt afford the a7000. But i did get the g700. I did hear the a7000 at bestbuy Its a beast of a soundbar. Ya money talks
Love u technology Stephen. One thing is for sure, Sony makes a beautiful sound bar...
Thank you Thank you for such a great review!!!!!! Best buy has system for $2000 and some change ALL IN......... THUMBS UP!!!!!!!
Just bought two of these new on clearance. Got them before the ugly Bar 9 replaced it. Amazing speakers!
@@mohamedalkaboom good, your opinion can be immediately discarded. I have the bar 8 and it looks waaay better than the A7000

Can't wait till you compare it to the nakamichi dragon! We do need a review!!!

@techsteve maybe you can buy nakamichi dragon and do a review for your followers. And return the produce if you don’t like it
@virnatt nah I’m good, digital trends did a great review on it.
the sound bar is already loud enough. Although I am using is in my basement, I can hear the sound from the upper floor.
I love the AZ5000ES but that is nice 💯👍🏾
Sony makes good products but they cost high for average consumer
True, but not every Sony product is expensive.
Does the tweeters work on the soundbar because I only hear the left during optimization
My sound bar always displays "Dolby Audio 48khz".... does it ever display "dolby atmos"? Or are those 2 the same thing? Thank you!
