I’m in my 70’s now my children and grandchildren are all grown up. I wish I could remember all the wonderful mundane moments of caring for them as they grew up. My spouse has dementia so now I am caring for him, such is the cycle of life. It seems like yesterday that I brought my first baby home from the hospital, life is so short. Enjoy every precious moment you have with your sweet baby.

My heart goes out to you. I cared for my mom who had dementia and it was the hardest thing I’ve ever gone through. Sending you lots of love! ❤

That was a really windy day, Katie! It’s not so pleasant to be outside when the wind is that brisk, but it is so fun to watch the clouds rushing around and gathering up . Your smiling face was very much appreciated today .

My husband and I used to LOVE hiking together - I was in a horrible car wreck in '05 so I can no longer go with him ... But anyway ... He's always kept his eye open for heart rocks, I now have hundreds of them... tiny, small,medium and HUGE ... it's been fun trying to find a way to display them without them being in the way, and so far I've been able to do that ...
We have 4 kids and 9 grandkids now ... and they ALL want to know who gets the rocks when I pass...
You never know what silly little sentimental things will mean to others...

A day in the current life of Katie: Baby cries,Feed baby, burp baby, change baby, watch baby, rock baby, Katie eats, Katie sleeps, Katie repeats! Lol
You forgot all the times when Katie snuggles with Ira, and takes a photo or a video. I had 5 kids, bringing a new baby home is the most fun I ever had. When the nurse handed me my first newborn, the feeling came over me, I have got to have more of these.! Such precious times !!❤️

It sure is great to see you Katie. I know having a baby can be demanding. I hope you’re feeling ok. I only have one daughter and she’s 37. When I had her I suffered from post parted depression and that was really scary. Eventually it went away. I’m glad you’re slowly coming back, it just didn’t seem the same without you. I believe that plant with the purple bloom is Spider Wort. My grandma had it in her yard & now I have it in mine here in Aberdeen NC.

Hi Katie. I'm a retired art teacher. I loved my jewelry classes in college. Nowadays, I may pick up some beads and fixings at a craft store BUT, it's fun to watch craftsmen actually bend and solder! Keep up the good work.🥰

Why do I want to cry everytime I watch you two ,I know why ,it reminds me of me and my sisters with our own babies and my first grandchild got married in May ,she was such a beautiful granddaughter.

I have been watching your and your mom’s channel for 3 years now. Corie introduced me to making soap! Enjoyed the glimpse into your life and hearing little Ira. God bless all of y’all! FYI drain the can peaches (save juice for something else), fill can with water and drain that. Peaches are so much better!

You can also freeze very ripe bananas for banana bread. Remove the peel and freeze. When they thaw they are kinda runny but it bakes just fine.
Deer meat is good for breakfast, dinner, supper, snack -any ole time 😊
I had no clue about the amount of work that went into each piece of jewelry-great that you’re sharing this. Enjoy while you have eyes good enough and the patience-I would have likely thrown it as far as possible at least 10 times while watching you (and, no I don’t have a short fuse, but those details-yikes). So good to see you Katie! It is so sweet the way you want every possible second with Ira. If I had had my way I would have been perpetually pregnant. I didn't even come close. I tried again in my 50s, but it didn't happen, so I opened a Childcare business for the 2nd time. There are never enough babies in my life 🥰 Enjoy your time, though we do miss you 💞
