I have a **FiTech 30003** with a built-in regulator at **3 bar (43 psi)**. FiTech recommends **58 psi** for optimal performance. I'm using an in-tank fuel pump with a return line, but without a fuel pressure regulator, and the fuel Guage shows around **43 psi**. I'm a bit confused! My engine doesn't start on the first try, and I have to turn the key on and off twice. Despite many modifications, the problem persisted until I noticed that my FiTech's regulator is set to **3 bar**, and FiTech states that **58 psi** is needed for optimal performance. So, do I need an external fuel pressure regulator?
I have a easy street 600 I have fuel to throttle body I hear injectors trying to work but not getting fuel and have external regulator block off plug 65 pounds pressure but no fuel comes out injectors any ideas
Hola . Tengo mi configuración y quiero hacerle unos cambios .
I have a problem. My Fitech didnt accelerate. I have a chevy 350 turbo set up. It starts, idle and operates great, but when O accelerate it didnt just cut off like if no gaa or no air...any HELP??
@@FiTechEFImedia Hi thanks for your answer. Well it was no code on my Fitech and the pressure was OK. Then I put $25 of gasoline (because its my Home Project and is not completed) then the pressure is on 0. I disconnect the hose and put a gallon, put the key and the fuel pump its working and delivering gas, but the pressure didn't stay on the Fitech. It could be the regulator of the Fitech?
I've been plagued by drivablilty issues for 3 years now , Fitech built me a program, still has issues with decel lean out and idling on a 355 crate motor. If you don't get it on a dyno tuner or your not savvy with a laptop then I'd pass.
Have you watched our video on Decel Fuel Cutoff (Episode 27). With this feature on the system shuts fuel off (leans out) to the engine under deceleration.
@@emmittreed6442 There is a vacuum line hooked to the regulator on the side that routes to the back of the throttle body. This allows the system to see boost and vacuum. Its setup for you already.
@@scottmclorie You can always save the cal file you currently have using the READ CAL FROM ECU on the handheld. Then load the DEFAULT V8 file to start a new tune. If you ever want to go back you can always load the saved file.
Thanks for answering my fuel pressure gauge question that I posted on FB.

The passenger rear corner of the throttle body is for return. If you are feeding into this port then you would not get fuel to the injectors.
Building a 331 Ford with a sniper tunnel ram fabricated intake. Will your system work with e 85.
Yes our EFI systems are E85 compatible.

Have you checked the fault code section of the system? Also make sure you have consistent fuel pressure.

Is it hard to reset after battery is disconnected for the winter???
If you disconnect the battery after the system is keyed off and saved it will not loose any memory.
@@FiTechEFImedia thanks but just got the car. and don't know if it was saved..don't know if previous owner did..he's no longer living
