    I made these and they were great, just don't over mix. I now add instant pudding and bake at 370 degrees. I really like my kitchen aid stand mixer, your right on with the mixing with the kitchen aid. Nice video.

    This is the first recipe I have done since getting my KitchenAid as a gift and the recipe and your instruction video does it great ! For British viewers, do not make the mistake using baking powder ! Use bicarbonate of soda and all purpose flour (plain flour) ;-)

    nothing wrong with the cookies but scooping flour like that you get more than a cup at a time you can end up with a half a cup extra of flour because it packs in so my tip is to get a regular soup spoon and scoop with that and put spoon fulls in the cup and DO NOT PACK IT DOWN but just level it that extra half cup can make your recipe dryer than it is suppose to be

    • @WeRmudfun
      @WeRmudfun  8 років тому +1

      Good tip. I'll try that out. :)

    • @debbiealtman4572
      @debbiealtman4572 6 років тому +2

      Nathaniel Aranda yes scooping like that you can get more flour than needed. But most very experienced cooks can get away with that because they have been doing it so long they know if the flour is too much or not. I do that don't always level my flour. Depending. Experienced cooks some of them don't even always measure every thing either as they have been cooking so long they know how much with out measuring. My Dad's mom was like that and she was an excellent cook.

    So, I cook a lot and I dabble a bit in baking; it's very rare that I don't have notes for myself after making something new. After making these cookies tonight, I have zero notes - they are literally the perfect cookie and I can die now knowing that I have achieved it.
    J/K - only note I have is that I should be careful starting the mixer after adding flour!! I think that's a mistake you only make once LOL

    • @WeRmudfun

    I had my mixer for a wild I can't figure out the speed and how many minutes

    • @Tampabruh
      @Tampabruh 4 роки тому

      When doing a cookie do you ALWAYS START ON LOW AND GRADUALLY GO UP ON THE SPEED. DONT GO BEYOND 4. You should add ingredients in GRADUALLY. Like first cream the butter with sugar, then add in eggs and add in vanilla extract. Add in your dry ingredients last and let them incorporate. Stand mixers are powerful so its best not to use them at a top/high speed.

    Though nice receipe your cookies are as big as pizzas. But I guess everything is bigger in America. Last year I visited NYC. Ordering a meal in different Fast Food Restaurants I almost caused a crisis in each one. Knowing even the smallest portions they offered are huge I did so. But the service was upset with me. Everytime I had to bring up an excuse. I understand them. It´s all about renenue. I myself like to cook. And all I can add to those wonderful receipes. Fewer is much better then ton´s of that stuff if someone want´s to stay happy and so on. Love you guys. =)

    • @WeRmudfun
      @WeRmudfun  5 років тому +3

      Why are you out on UA-cam looking and commenting on the video then? Your comment make no sense. The title clearly states How to make cookies using a KitchenAid Mixer. All the ingredients and how much use are clearly stated in the video and listed in the description box below the video. It is also clearly stated how long and what temperature to bake them at. Sorry you feel you wasted your own time, what were you expecting? If you want old school read a recipe book! Have a nice day!
