Manhunt International wears the crown of the world's first and most prestigious of all men's pageants and competitions. It began in 1988 when Alex Liu, the pageant director of Metromedia Singapore, decided to hold the first male modeling competition in Singapore with the announcement of "Manhunt".
It became Manhunt International in 1993 when Roscoe Dickinson (Australia) and Alex Liu (Singapore) joined forces with the dream of offering the people of the world a platform to showcase their talents. The first ever Manhunt International World Final was held in Australia in 1993 with 25 competitors. The competition stayed on Australia's Gold Coast in 1994 when Nikos Papadakis from Greece won.
Manhunt International is organized in a macho way with activities, exciting events, public presentations and talent.
Contestants are judged on their runway and runway skills, photogenicity, personality and physical characteristics.
