There are dozens of link building tools out there. But you don’t need that many to build backlinks to your site. You only need a handful of them to reach maximum efficiency.
Before we get into the tools, we need to briefly discuss the 3 stages of link building to get the idea of where tools can help make your link building processes more effective and smooth.
In this video, you’ll learn what these stages are.
Now, let’s talk about the tools we use to set up our link building process.
First, Google search. It is great for the prospecting stage.
The next tool is Ahrefs. It helps in the link prospecting and vetting stages.
Another tool is Hunter.io. It’s an email finding tool that helps you find email addresses for your prospects.

The next tool is Neverbounce. Its main purpose is to help filter out the email addresses that are not deliverable.
The next tool is Pitchbox. It has a ton of useful features under the hood. But we mostly use it for link prospecting and email outreach.
And finally, it’s Screaming Frog SEO spider. It’s a web crawler that’s mostly used for on-page and technical SEO audits. But it can be also used for an unlinked mentions campaign.

Screaming frog can be found for 50usd or so.

Hey Sam! How can I use Ahrefs to catch websites that link to my UA-cam channel for linkbuilding?
If you're talking about the channel page, set up a backlinks alert with your channel URL. If you want to monitor videos, you'd have to setup alerts for each video.
