This video was so helpful! Without this video it would have been a total disaster trying to figure out how the cables guided on the pulley system. The manual works good up until the pulley cable system. This video was awesome!!
You just saved me hours of work. I picked up one of these machines and it didnt come with a manual. Thought I was fucked but this was simple and straight to the point. Cheers brotha
Man I pray your whole business is blessed!!! This video is and was a legit must have for putting the cables together on the titan fitness functional trainer. Titan fitness should give you 10% for every functional trainer they sell just to include your helpful video!!!! Again, Thank You!!
Thanks for this. Very helpful. 🙂 Some keys I found: Pay attention to "right side" "left side" when running the outside long cables. Literally, stay to the right on on double cables, then the left on the way back (or vice versa). It's casually mentioned, but it makes things much easier. Install the pulleys first, BUT don't tighten them. Some you will likely have to remove at least partially to run the cable through on the "figure out how to get it through" pulleys. On the low/high pulleys, watch the passthrough(s) on the bottom.
Thank you for your help in figuring out the cable system. "Got it done! The instructions and video that came from Titan were no help whatsoever. You saved the day. Thank you again.
This was big help on route the cables. On reading the reviews I also left all of pulley's loose and remove some pulleys to route the cable . Then last step was tightening all the of the pulley bolts. Double check everything and done. With the visual aid and note pointers makes it so much easiers . Thanks
AWESOME video Josh....GREAT help for installing the cables on the Titan Plate Loaded Functional Trainer. Thanks!!! I agree to installing all the pulleys first. Fortunately, I decided to NOT tighten them. I highly suggest this because you will take MOST of the pulleys off to fit the washer at the the end of the cable (you don't even need to put the washers and nuts on until all the cables are installed, then put them on and tighten all). Thanks again Josh. You made this task much easier.
Wow you have no idea how helpful this is, I can actually understand now!! I got to a point where I just stopped, now I should be able to finished tomorrow. Thanks bro!!!👏🏼👍🏼💪🏼
The little washer that stays on the cable after taking the ball off makes running it through the pullies almost impossible. My line is already frayed from these ""sticking points"". Super unreal.
Hmmm not sure what happened, did you make sure the pulleys was somewhat loose (not fully tighten) while running the cable through. But if the line is frayed reach out to Titan for a replacement.
@@stabilfitlifehey quick question for you - did you tighten the bolts on all the pulley wheels and the quad/triple pulleys real tight or just tight enough so they stay on safely? I’m wondering if making them too tight would effect how smooth the pulleys work or not so figured I should ask. Thanks!!!
I do not, I just checked the small one to see if there is any markings on the side of the wheel, nothing. I’m sorry I couldn’t help you. Reach out to Titan fitness, their customer service should be able to tell you.
Thanks a bunch!!! Btw I noticed the Weight handle doesn't touch the stopper after installation (i even installed the cable at Arms sliding frame to be on the 4th lowest knot) and still, the weight holder does not meet the stopper. :( any remedies?
This is going to require you to loosen the cable up, the pulley that is attached to the weight horns on the guide rods where you put the weight on. You can loosen that one, has one small bolt. Loosen the bolt and turn (counter clockwise) rotate the pulley to loosen. Once the cables settle and it’s been used a few times with weight, it will touch the stoppers. Hope that helps.
@@stabilfitlife Thank you very much! I was able to sort it out by your suggestion! Quick question, is the machine's rods (2 rods that the weight holder run up/down & the 2 rods that have the handle sliders) shaking a bit for you? I realized even with the weight plates on the plates holder, the base is stable, but the rods are shaking. is this normal? Should I be worried?
@@nguyend702 I don’t have that issue, can you send me a video of it. My guess, could be the bolts are loose on the top but I don’t know. Stabilfitlife@gmail.com
Hi there! I’m setting this machine up currently and was wondering, for the packaged lubricant, was it in a red bottle? I wanted to make sure that I’m putting the right thing on. Thanks!
Mine came in a clear bottle, but as long as the lubricant is clear and is the only thing in the packaging you should be fine. For future maintenance, check this video out Maintaining Your Functional Trainer From Stabil FIT Life #StabilFITLife ua-cam.com/video/Yk9gFvAzf3I/v-deo.html
@@kendraaber94ptdy37 don’t use that, I sent you a link to a video I’ve made on maintenance and talk about the type of spray that I use. If you have questions don’t hesitate to reach out.
So I bought the machine have a question one I did not put washers on the pulleys and also on the dual pulley the one with four pulleys they our right beside each other and not separated at all should there be something to separate the two pulleys beside each other cause they kind of grind on each other , and I think that's the reason mine is not super smooth
I don’t think the washers will effect how the cables operate, more of protecting the frames. However the quad pulley should have a bushing in between to space the pulleys apart. If it doesn’t, contact Titan and tell explain what you have. They should be able to send you a replacement no problem.
@@stabilfitlife that's definitely it looking at the directions there is two spacers in between each of the two pairs of pulleys mine our grinding on each other cause there's nothing separating them , thanks a lot
I did not forget about you my friend, I contacted the manufacturer to find out for you, still waiting on a response. I've looked at my functional trainer here to see if anything was etched on the pulleys, nothing. Once I hear back, I will let you know.

What kind of lubricant are you using?
I’ve used the 3 in one all temp silicone and it didn’t work out. Used the Silicone by WD40 and it was a bit better

Hey Bro, do you put the lubricant before installing the cables or after?
Doesn’t matter, I added the lubricant after. Apply it about once a month after it. I have another video on monthly maintenance.
