Not fair, man... In your hands, that guitar doesn't sound that bad... I mean, yes, the way you bought it has its risks and I could go for another brand but hey, you got some nice sounds out of that axe.
Not sure what you expect. You need to have another look. I bought the natural Vision strat and the tele and I have enjoyed playing both. I've had to send so many other bargain guitars back (Harley Benton, Stagg, Chibsons...) but these are keepers. All I can say I ordered in 2024 and totally shocked at the playability and quality of the build. On par absolutely with Squire Affinity's and some better Bullet's like my FSR.
It doesn't seem anywhere near as bad as he made it seem.. I mean, some new pots, some Styrofoam to stop the springs from ringing and some new tuners, or just see if it helps to tighten the screws on the tuners.. Seriously, sometimes that helps a lot.. Oh and if the nut is cut too deep and is causing buzzing because of it, a shim under the nut will fix the buzz. Basically with a little TLC this guitar could play pretty good from the look of it. At worse some new tuners and a shim for the nut, some cheap Styrofoam and a decent setup, and if you are really picky some new full size pots and a new cap, and a setup.. Depending on how much you want to spend on tuners, this could be fixed up for not much money.. I mean, it seems more like a project guitar to me than something that plays great out of the box... Maybe I just have so very low expectations when it comes to guitars honestly, or maybe I am just crazy.. Now I need to go see what all he did to this guitar lol.
i think what people have to consider on cheap guitars is that its probably mostly made for beginners and this guitar more than succeeds in that regard. for that price range it is incredible. of course someone whos spoiled with guitars that cost multiple hundreds or thousands of dollars will find almost everything about it bad.
@@ThatsMySkill Even though most folks believe cheap guitars are "beginner" guitars, I honestly don't. Most cheap guitars will take a little work to get them playing like a dream, which means that people who are new to playing guitars, are less likely to know how to fix them. I believe cheap guitars are ether mod platforms for established players, or just a way to trick newer players or parents into buying them thinking they are just affordable and thus a great deal. More people have likely been gifted their first guitar, only to find it sounded terrible and played like crap, and then quit thinking they just didn't have what it takes, than likely not...
@@lfaf9509 yeah its not exclusively targeted at beginners but its mostly beginners that are gonna get their hands on those because when most people pick up a new hobby they usually start at an affordable level. people who dont wanna spend hundreds of dollars for a hobby they are not sure they even wanna keep doing. this is the guitar for them. with a cheap price comes compromises but in the age of the internet its fairly easy to find out issues with your guitar even if you dont know anything about them. troubleshooting is way easier so beginners have a better time improving and fine tuning a guitar if it needs it and they can upgrade parts like pickups, strings or tuners whenever they want. its just a great starting platform imo.

Half of the fun of this channel is listening to a German kid being thoughtful, funny, and articulate in a second language to a degree that makes my native speaker countrymen look like poorly written video game NPCS.
What you described with the tuning pegs isn't actually tuning pegs problem, but is a problem with the nut being unlubricated. The string jumps because of nut and it has nothing to do with the tuning pegs. It can also jump if the string isn't properly locked.
So, I'm a singer. I own a few decent guitars but can't play them. Still, I have a decent ear. A bad microphone and amp may distort the sound but it wont change the quality of my singing. I think that is what is going on here. You did not sound as bad as you said IMO. You play well and your skill level on that cheap guitar made it shred. So from my point of view, it worked and more than sufficed for $50 Euro. Ive definitely heard worse from the starter guitar 222 my son got at a garage sale for $35 USD, especially on the amp that came with it. Although, I suspect you'd probably make that 222 shred too so... And your new El Cheapo brand guitar looks pretty cool too. As much as I enjoy watching the hatchet carnage I'd say its a keeper.
@@sixstringtv1 thanks ... Will check them out. I really thought it would be something from At The Gates actually. .. also ... When is the Chibson vs Gibson/Epiphone vid coming ?
I got one of them in white. I made it look like a old one by sanding it on the sides then repainting it black then sanding it down to the wood clear coated it replaced the pickups with a loaded pickup guard that has multiple switches from ebay.. Then I put on a Floyd rose tremolo bar.. It's so cool.. And added a head stock decal of the Munsters
Bro, is that normal that you lose the ability to play musically as soon as you grow your hair? The shredding is cool, but it's just noise if it isn't played in tact with the already based music.
If you (for whatever ungodly reason) want to buy this guitar:

It honestly blows my mind that a guitar under $100 is even playable. 20 years ago anything under $200 was pretty much a toy.

Hey man, love the channel, just found it by the KDH channel, great stuff, cheers from Canada!
Super glad you're enjoying it all the way ij Canada 😁😁🤩
You’re awesome and I like the derangement sound test. I think it’s a quality test on any guitar.
Thanks! Important test, that's how you figure out... uhhh... yeah thanks 😁
Visually the guitar is awesome, lol. That's a sick headstock.
headstock reminds me of the horns on Kerry King's Dean signature. iykyk

i love that headstock
4:36 4:52 are these riffs original? Sounds badass
One is Live Undead by Slayer and the next one is Nemesis by an underrated band named Harlott
hell id buy that!! had a stat headstock? hell yeah, plus its got good metal sound!!
cant be any worse the inffinity strat i bought in pawn shop for 694 including tax..LOL!!
Its the Marshall, not the guitar. Speakers are the most important thing.

the video was good and all
but I noticed your pinky finger around 4:40 mark
_it looks scary_
😂😭

Oh it's a keeper for sure, if nothing else then for the backdrop, but I'll probably turn it into a mod guitar soon 😎
What's that riff around 4:50 ? It sounds so familiar but I just cannot place it ...sounds awesome though
My own version of Nemesis by Harlott, played from memory. criminally underrated band.

So many good video ideas in my comments recently. Definitely going on the list! 😁
Set it up correctly first. Then you'll have a good impression of it's worth keeping it and upgrade it.
I bought it to turn it into Jhonny Silverhands guitar from Cyberpunk. The Deluze Orphean.
I believe mine it's called MSA Vision but it looks the same. Honestly, been using it for 6 months at this point, surely it isn't great, but it's fine
Yeah where I bought it simply there wasn't any model name, but it's the same. Except mine came with rust on screws and pickups
Maaan i had the black and white one as my first ever electric guitar. Still got it, but the frets are all fucked up
I got one of them in white.

It was sticky because it was covered with mayonnaise (: everyone can figure what type mayonnaise I’m talking about
thomann shipping be the price of the cheapest strat tho
Sure if you're ordering from like Australia
@@sixstringtv1 shipping to US is that much
Was this the guitar that you "relic'd"? hahaha
No 😂
Upgrade this guitar with the cheapest useable parts you can find online
