Fantastic! Your instructions for this scarf are so easy to follow-your knitting speed matches mine nearly perfect, so no need to pause your video, start and/or rewind, so bravo! Thank you ☺️
This is the best cable tutorial of all I've seen! Just wondering about the chart. It looks like every 9th row is working a cable like row 1 and that row 8 is P6, K6. P6, K6, P6. Am I missing something? Thank you!!!
Newer knitter here. I get the cable part what I'm not getting is what I see as a difference between the written instructions and the chart instructions. For rows 2 4 and 6 it says to knit 6 purl 6. The chart shows purl 6 knit 6. Am I reading this wrong? I followed the chart for a couple of rows and it does not look right.
@@ayachavez7450 Yes, it is as you say. First row is just knit with the pattern 6,3+3,6,3+3,6, second row is knit 6, purl6,knit6,purl6.knit 6 and third row is just knit.
I'm fairly new with knitting but.... I need some clarity on a couple of things. First, a garter stitch is just a regular knit stitch right? Secondly, wrong side is considered a purl stitch? When it says "Cast on 30 sts. Knit 9 rows (garter st), noting first row is WRONG SIDE" : I would purl the first row and then knit the remaining 8 rows? Thank You
THANK YOU! this is the second project I found on this channel. You are the BEST
Thank you! My first cable stitch project....i didn't cry!

Thank you SO much for this video! It's been explained beautifully ✌💕
Would this pattern work with a Caron Cake? I noticed in the video that the pattern stated the CO is 30 stitches

It is written differently in the pattern! I wonder if she did the written instructions here instead of the diagram?
Same here. I think it is WS is knit 6 purl 6, and RS is purl 6 knit 6. We can see how it should be around -1:49

Do straight needles work?
Yes they do normally, it is just maybe a little more harder then with the round one, but still quite easy.
Yarn color was so dark that it was hard to see. 😭
