i still cant believe these guys have only been around since 2019 because everything about them from their aesthetic to their sound to their live presence just FEELS like a band that's been around for way longer and bigger stars than bands that have been around for WAY longer. i need an eighteen visions + static dress US tour sometime this year dawg I WILL SELL MY OWN ORGANS for tickets to that.
Absolutely, if they had more money input for marketing I'm telling you, they would be at Lollapalooza's, Rock Am Ring and Reading Festival's main stages by now, sharing it next to BMTH in level of audience
I feel like they're gonna keep dropping singles, then release a compilation on physical and repeat the process. They've been dropping nothing but singles for over a year now.
This band feels alot like If Incubus had blown a decade later than they did, during the 00's MySpace-Core Era. It's the perfect blend of nostalgic AltRock & Post-Hardcore with a twang of fresh flair that holds it all together and doesn't make it stale. It uses it's nostalgic notes as a utility more for garnish rather than lean on it like a crutch. With that added touch flamboyant, mellow dramatics reminiscent of bands like early P!ATD thrown into the; stage presence, cadence and lyrics. This is such a certified Chef's Kiss. This band is going to do great things and I'm so ready to watch it all unfold.
I don't really get the incubus comparison, they sound nothing like them. To me they are a mixture of Glassjaw, Underoath, Finch, and old Deftones with a modern twist.
@@Reversoul I was binging them when I wrote this, it may not be this song in particular but a few tracks reminded me in parts of the instrumentals. As well as the cadence/inflection of the clean vocals. But, I do agree.
"The song, the visual aesthetic, the video, everything is just perfect. I've been waiting for a band like this to appear in the 2020s. You've got my support from Japan!"
Still blows my mind that I knew the singer and now he's famous. He showed me Architects and Animals As Leaders in college, completely revamped my music taste, Olli, I thank you.
3 years and this still makes me feel..... So happy. Like I'd discovered a literal pot of gold.... exactly how I felt when finding static dress. Can't explain my love for this fucking band.
Now this is great post-hardcore! Reminds me of the golden age of the genre (2005-2011) glad they bringing back the best sound in the genre! Keep it up, guys.
The golden age of post HC ended a good 3-4 years before you said it began lmao. Relationship of Command was the last great Post HC record and the perfect summary of the genre
@@dicecard921 That's the old wave of post-hardcore you're talking about lmao. Drive Like Jehu, At The Drive-In, Polvo, Fugazi and so on. @@TheGreatestOfAllLostArts Underoath is metalcore or screamo depending on the album, HICF is metalcore, Finch is scenecore. None of them bear any musical resemblance to the actual post hardcore nor fit the Reynoldsian definition of post-X music

I've been listening to this on Spotify for like 2 days straight. I fucking love this band. Y'all are gonna be huge and I'm so happy I'm here to see it from the beginning.
I just wanna say I absolutely love your guys music so so so much. I listen to it every day when things just keep getting worse and worse, its such good music to scream to and just feel okay, even if its just for a little bit.

This is so painful this reminds me of berserk Im loving every song ( or chapter ) that comes out but im also eagerly waiting for the next one or an album

I cannot get enough of this band and specifically this song. I haven’t felt something like this resonate with me in a long time.
They're having a livestream event on Feb 20 ;) Might want to check it out! Already bought my ticket!
Feeling the same
first, if i die first brings back 2006 post-hardcore. and now this band bringing back 2003 post-hardcore. 2020 is slowly starting getting good for me

End of next year...? That's so fucking far.
Singles are the best move for bands right now. Not too many artists want to put out full lengths to let them flop. Singles keep you wanting more. Lol

I just stepped back into early 2000s music with a video from early 90s. This is so damn good. Genius level.
a guy from tiktok suggested this band to me on one of my videos, best band suggestion i've ever gotten
