Since Sur Ron’s are made in China they will be metric. You’ll damage the nuts using imperial even if it does “fit”, using keys also damages them as well. Use a ratchet wrench.
BMX short rise handlebars can be bought at most bike shops and they'll have a cross bar already welded on them. Get the BMX bars designed for the 24 inch sized BMX bike though
How taller are you? I'm only asking because, I'm thinking about purchasing a Surron and was wondering did the 3" rise bars make a difference. Thanks in advance.
Yeah I trimmed some of my regular mountain bike new handle bars once and realized later they were too small so with these I decided not to trim them at all and see how they felt. So far I haven't disliked them so I guess I'll leave them be for now. Harder to fit in the back of a car though lol
Why wouldn't you just take the original handle bars off? Then put the hardware onto the riser bars instead of struggling with anything. There are literally a hundred video's telling you to put everything on the bars, then put em on and tighten the bolts up on the head. It's common sense

I need those bars for my short arms, they call me T Rex
You're just a baby 🐥
Usually you trim 1.5’ off or so . They come crazy long.

Ah yes my favorite part, the stock "mountain bracket thing". Also known as a "stem".
Can you please relink the handle bars. Cheers
is this handlebar wider than the stock handlebar?
it's pretty wide, can be cut to a size you prefer. it's similar to the stock one, maybe an inch wider on each side at most.
Awesome bars
