And it’s become a staple ingredient in my homemade chili recipe.
I think different sauces go on different foods. Sriracha on asian foods, tabasco for grilled chicken or eggs, tapatio on cup noodles or chips, cholula also similar to tabasco and yucateco for main entree type food.
The dude putting 10,000++++ is me for sure, El Yucateco is one of my all time favorite underrated hotsauces for putting with Mexican/TexMex food, especially tacos al pastor. The green chile habanero one has a phenomenal flavor, and the black one is nice, but I also really enoy the really spicy one, Exxxtra Hot, for a great kick. 🔥👌 I had a Mexican friend that I met in a restaurant in a small town called Livingston in Texas, the restaurant is El Taquito, and he was such a cool waiter, older and respectful. He had been with the owners for a long time and brings great vibes there, he's the one that showed me this sauce for the first time around 2020 at the restaurant, and I fell in love with the sauce on my al pastor tacos, he'd always hook me up with more meat and that special sauce they didn't keep out. Not many Americans like the spicier stuff around there I guess, so they keep it in the back for the Mexican guests that know about it. After I had it and found out it was at Walmart, I started buying it and using it on all kinds of things at home. 🤤 There's other good choices there, Tapatío and Cholula are really nice, and I absolutely love Valentina hot sauce, both the regular and extra hot. 😀
Grew up on Valentina with Fritos. Tapatío was always next to the Valentina at the restaurants. Yucateco found me as an adult and I always keep some at home now. It’s my go to in a bottle hot sauce.
I keep Valentina Negro for Mexican food, but my daily hot sauce is El Yucateco Kutbil-Ik de Habanero (aka the XXXtra hot). Often 2L for $30 shipped, but even the little bottles are a bargain in the world of hot sauces. And yes, also have some Tabasco for Louisiana creole dishes. Its vinegar forward, but meant to go on dishes that don't have acidic ingredients, to brighten them up.

I’m working to perfect a homemade hot sauce.
I remember trying Valentina sauce for the very first time at a chain Mexican restaurant when I was around 10. It made my burrito taste like a cheeseburger.
And for a ten year old boy: Cheeseburger = good. I’ve made sure we had a bottle in the fridge ever since and now that I live on my own, I got a GIGANTIC bottle of it that I’ve been using for years. And it’s become a staple ingredient in my homemade chili recipe.
My favorites are Sriracha but only the Rooster no copy cats and Valentina but only on chips and snacks and Tabasco at restaurants
These guys got me into tapatio
I think different sauces go on different foods. Sriracha on asian foods, tabasco for grilled chicken or eggs, tapatio on cup noodles or chips, cholula also similar to tabasco and yucateco for main entree type food.
Cholula is Nothing like Tabasco
@@Andriig75 not what I was saying. Under the context, I'm listing a few for use on different foods.
I had a Mexican friend that I met in a restaurant in a small town called Livingston in Texas, the restaurant is El Taquito, and he was such a cool waiter, older and respectful. 🤤
There's other good choices there, Tapatío and Cholula are really nice, and I absolutely love Valentina hot sauce, both the regular and extra hot. 😀
The regular red El Yucateco is my all time jam. Just right when I want spicy kick, Sriracha when I want to use a lot of sauce.
El Yucateco Caribbean sauce is Top tier
Grew up on Valentina with Fritos.
Tapatío was always next to the Valentina at the restaurants.
Yucateco found me as an adult and I always keep some at home now. It’s my go to in a bottle hot sauce.
I have both Valentina (red) and Yucateco (orig.) here that I brought from the US.
Much love from the Philippines 🇵🇭
I love Tapatio and Valentina, but I always buy the extra hot Valentina. The El Yecateco is good on a breakfast burritos or huevos rancheros
I got the last one once here in london. I can't find it anymore. Hands down my favourite. Wish you could get it here😢
I keep Valentina Negro for Mexican food, but my daily hot sauce is El Yucateco Kutbil-Ik de Habanero (aka the XXXtra hot). Often 2L for $30 shipped, but even the little bottles are a bargain in the world of hot sauces.
And yes, also have some Tabasco for Louisiana creole dishes. Its vinegar forward, but meant to go on dishes that don't have acidic ingredients, to brighten them up.
