Hi everyone! Let me know what you think about the new features in Vray 6 in the comments below! Plus - don't forget to vote in my poll to let me know how many rendering programs you use - ua-cam.com/users/TheRenderingEssentialscommunity - Thanks for watching!
I think Enscape and Vray will merged as one product in the future, new product have both escape's efficiency and Vray's quality.
You're the best ! thank you for these videos !
Thanks Bro
Great video ❤
Would you share video creating animation video in vray?
Very very inportant video
hi sir , pls tell us ideal render setting in interior designing work for 3ds max 2019
Thank you
I just learned enscape and I absolute love it! Especially after learning in SU Podium- however I was disappointed to learn that in enscape transparent objects don’t casts shadows which really sucks for me! So I’m hoping that VRay transparent objects can cast shadows (like glass etc)
I personally did not like that they moved the vray material library to cosmos. It was easier to find and use in vray.
Same here
while I like having access to a lot more, I don't know why all the assets can't just be loaded into the material library to use from there. I think I was able to do that in the last release and don't seem to see that ability now. The Downloaded material used to show up in your library now they arent there.
HI,
Can you share your System Configuration Please???
I have licence for vray only. Tbh I'm not ready to pay for two rendering softwares. Also planning to switch from vray to UE5 or twinmotion because it's free.
Can you make a tutorial how to make animations running faster in vray
How does the cosmos asset library compare to Enscape's? I'm particularly interested in the vegetation, thanks.
I'm not 100% sure - I THINK there might be some more detailed models in there, or models that are specialized to Vray that render out at a higher quality, but I don't know that for sure
@@TheRenderingEssentials if they don't make it a two way deal between v-ray and Enscape then Enscape suddenly becomes totally irrelevant and I'll be swapping to twinmotion or d5. I feel like the best bits of Enscape will just be taken by vray and what remains will just receive less development and resources... It's a bit sad really
@@3DGvisuals just like apple bought beats audio.
I've never used Vray but I don't understand why you would use one rendering engine to setup a scene in another one? Is Vray a better renderer? Why not just use Enscape for the scenes you setup?
I use Enscape and Twinmotion. Prior to Twinmotion including the Path Tracer feature I would typically use Twinmotion for exteriors and Enscape if I had interiors. I'd like to transition to Twinmotion for everything though because I do like how the exteriors look (especially vegetation) as compared to Enscape but there are still missing features within the Path Tracer that are preventing this.
Totally agree, TM provides everything I need for beautiful renders, animation and online cloud presentations. The vegetation library (as being a landscape designer) could be expanded a little more but that is basically it.
Vray is better in the sense that you can modify the lighting, materials, and the scene a lot more than a program like TM. I've made extremely photorealistic renders from v-ray (people didn't know whether they were renders or photographs) but the learning curve is steep. I think this link between vray and TM allows people to model and set up a render in TM, but execute the final render in vray
Short answer: No I would not buy both. I may end up like Nick Sonder and present my models using only Sketchup Pro/Layout. Like you I went to both sites to see if their was some kind of joint license, but no love there. I have an Enscape license now and chose to uninstall it, but that is not to say I won't re-install it again if necessary. I'm not too happy with the Enscape company. When I first bought my subscription, they seemed like a shoddy startup. I had a problem and was trying to get some support, even going so far as to call Enscpe Germany. I dialed every number on their system and not one number picked on a Monday morning at 10AM German time. Also, I find that Enscape slows down my entire process even before I use it on a project. When my subscription expires, if I decide to use a rendering program I will buy V-Ray.
One thing I don't like is not being able to easily integrate my V-Ray or Enscape renderings into Layout. Doing screen shots and pasting them into Layout or my regular CAD program is a pain when I need to make quick changes. It's much easier to update my Sketcup model --> update Layout --> spit out a 24"x36" pdf file that I XREF into AutoCAD. I bought Enscape for occasions I need to do a few presentation renderings but it is inconsistent and not really worth the trouble.
Meehhh back to unreal, I just don't know why they cant bring Enscape to 3dmax
No way I have time to use different rendering programs. it takes a lot of time to get proficient in one let alone more. Perhaps people with more time.
