I have couple of questions. Is it possible to explode, and then remodel/rescale certain parts of the vray 3d models? I use vray 6 for rhino 8, and each time I would try to rescale some parts of the model it duplicate itself and then I end up with multiple models one on the top of each other..

can you EDIT COSMOS models ? I used a model furniture unit tho in SKETCHUP deleted the LEGS but in VRAY RENDER the LEGS ARE STILL SHOWING ?

in the painel modify, choose 'import mesh'

Hello, Justin! I have also a question! It is about the render engine of these assets. I can't use gpu, the program crashes. I render when I have Chaos assets with CPU and it is very slow. Any help how to change that?
That was very useful video, as usual! But here is an issue I have lately when Im using Chaos Cosmos assets, VRay just refuse to use GPU for rendering, it works only with CPU and it is very slow! Any recommendations how to switch on GPU?

Using V-Ray for Maya. There does not seem to be a way to actually edit these models or their materials. Is this so, or did I miss something?

Hi Justin, im working with a 500mb skp file for vray rendering. It always freezes once every 1 minute, dp you have any tips for working with a large Sketchup+Vray file?
Delete out as much as you can to make it smaller. Use more optimized assets. Reduce texture file sizes wherever possible
@@TheRenderingEssentials thank you for the input. Another question, I just upgraded my pc to a 3060rtx, i use the Rtx mode for my interactive rendering. I still feel its a bit slow compared to enscape to see the light & material effect, did i do something wrong or i need to toogle something on?

Too bad they can't get the Chaos explorer to function correctly. They post updates about every two weeks and they're buggy AF.
