I really think there is a real possibility that "The Legend of Ruby Sunday" could also be addressing why the Doctor keeps breaking the 4th wall also maybe by there is a camera etc..
@@CulturePhilter Well this is true.. but what if the promo footage is actually episode footage too? we just don't see it as such because hes talking to us 😶🌫🤣
Some time back, RTD referred to episode four as the best thing he'd ever written. So high hopes for 73 Yards. Looking forward to Boom, hoping the old Moffat-writing-under-RTD magic is back.
@@ashleysherlock5705 completely agree. Some of my favourite episodes of the show full stop were written by Moffat DURING his showrunner era. And while they weren’t perfect I also prefer his story arcs to Russell’s 🤷♂️
Empire Of Death could very well obviously be referring to the Daleks but then I don’t see how they’d come into play with the big mystery surrounding Ruby and the whole thing with The Toymaker’s legions. I’d love to see Ncuti face off against them but not if doesn’t fit anywhere in the overall story

Yeah. I’m not someone who thinks that there should be no returning “old guard” at all. I think a balanced mix of old and new is always good. But one episode out of 8 is a shame
As a big relaunch with only 8 episodes why take the risk of ending up with another ‘Orphan 55’ or ‘In the forest of the night’ ? "Boogeyman"? Oh dear, another example of American mispronunciation usurping a native British term. It's really "Bogyman", from a traditional name for a devil or evil spirit, and has nothing to do with boogie or boogie-woogie (dance).
@@CulturePhilter It's quite possible, Philip, although the word's origin is unclear.
