Okay, so this episode confirms that Cesare doesn't just have a personal vendetta against Steve, but actually hunts down clowns for some supernatural entity. Based on the fact that people in the modern day only relate clowns to the performers and see "real" clowns as just a myth, it would seem he's been fairly successful at this
@@nicirose3524 I think the same thing. To me though, the connection was the way Cesare's hammer extended out like the pole the clowns used to keep the portal to the vampire realm open.
So, the lyrics have explained the plot for a while! Cesare was a marionette maker from Venice a long time ago who was murdered. He got a second chance at life, with the catch that he spends eternity hunting effectively chaos gods to protect order. Or, rather, clowns.
Genuine organic proof that Blender is severely overlooked by the animation industry as a medium for it.. Worthi's work is some of the most creative I've seen.

I just realized when he said "I don't normally need help catching you freakazoids" Cesare is referring to clowns, meaning that there really is some beef between spooky goth creatures and clowns going on
@@sl33py20 if the vid ‘wire’ has anything to go off of, it’s that apparently clowns and goths exist as a race and faction respectively and are constantly at odds with each other, so perhaps in a major battle, the goths drove the clowns near extinction and while the remaining clowns may have gone into hiding, Steve figured to try hiding as an overly eccentric food-truck owner and has his employees dress as clowns to better conceal himself, and knowing that there are still clowns alive, Cesare left the goth domain to go on the hunt to finish the job and has found himself stuck in an unending cat and mouse game with Steve(perhaps starting his own food-truck to better sneak up on Steve under the guise of being a ‘rival food-truck’), having to call on support from higher gothic powers to finally seal the deal on catching Steve
WHAT?! That escalated so quickly, the entire dynamic will change drastically now. I hope things aren't wrapping up soon, this is by far my favorite series on UA-cam.
Yeah, i’ve got the same feeling. I assume that steve has survived what happened because he’s built different, and the zomburger staff will join bigtop. The way Cesare is just like "Later" and just nopes out of their plane of existence after pulling such an amazing series of shots with that mallet... This show is so good the only problem is that there isn't a full length series.
As much as I would like a full length series I slightly disagree actually. Would be cool but then the creator wouldn't have as much control as a larger team is needed. Animations wouldn't come out as often and with them as compact as this is you get the most OOMF out of each bit. Short bits her and there seems like the way to go. It would lose its spark if it tried to be something else or be just fundamentally different and be enjoyed for entirely different reasons. (.... did I just do an um actually?? Oh no.)
Something is so funny about in the first episode Steve told the customer Merry Christmas and then in this episode Cesare told Steve Feliz Navidad. They must really like Christmas
Everyone loves the albatross line, but what I really love is Cesare's lowkey "Oh shit," right before he starts hamming it up and guilting Steve into keeping the lunchbox. Just a teeny-tiny panicked character break when it seems his target might just get away again.
Cesare's Upper Management line with him pointing down is such a great moment, it really shows off his personality along with how casual he is even when finally getting Steve after what sounds like quite a bit of time.
That Salem witch trial reference about Giles Corey is top tier. Good shit. Edit: After reading the comments, apparently Chris Fleming IMPROVISED that line. What a legend.

The fact that it seems like Cesare didn’t really care that much for the rest of Zomburger crew (“Can’t say it’s been a pleasure” “I’m gonna miss you guys so much… not”) Lowkey hurts I thought he’d care at least a little xd
I think we need to take into consideration that Cesare has probably been undead for a while now, and that tends to make one a bit detached to mortals i guess? Maybe he just saw them as means to an end. I prefer to think that he was just lying there, and he actually does get along with his staff or at least likes them idk
The gall of Cesare passing off a kettlebell as the legendary *Big Stetson* . No one could have denied such a gift, truly villainous. Also wack-a-moling Steve to hell was pretty evil too, I guess
The best part of the entire episode (for me) is the line that comes in and out on the right side added to Cesare's lip when he says "yeah, that's the point." The line itself and the screenplay is so much more deadpan than anything else in the series and is the best delivered line all season, and the way it's animated comes off as a small snarl.

It was not really his execution, They tried to get him to confess to being a witch by pressing him with stones but giles corey knew that if he confessed he would lose his land for his family. Every time he was asked if he was a witch he would say more weight. This continued until his ribcage collapsed killing him

The vampires and their zombie army have long faced off against the might of the clowns.
I mean it sends steve to a different dimension so I assume their is similarity there
Holy shite
This means that our understanding of undead being at odds with clowns from wire is in fact cannon.

@@paddyjarns Steve's in Wire, He's in the background on the Clown airship!
Okay, so this episode confirms that Cesare doesn't just have a personal vendetta against Steve, but actually hunts down clowns for some supernatural entity. Based on the fact that people in the modern day only relate clowns to the performers and see "real" clowns as just a myth, it would seem he's been fairly successful at this
I wonder if it’s somehow related to their video Wire?? Something Cesare said is sticking with me and I instantly though if that video.
@@nicirose3524 I think the same thing. To me though, the connection was the way Cesare's hammer extended out like the pole the clowns used to keep the portal to the vampire realm open.
@@nicirose3524 I've been saying that the clowns and vampires have been enemies and Ceasare and Steve are the last one's
We don't know if they are the last ones, they could just be arch enemies.
So, the lyrics have explained the plot for a while! Cesare was a marionette maker from Venice a long time ago who was murdered. He got a second chance at life, with the catch that he spends eternity hunting effectively chaos gods to protect order. Or, rather, clowns.

As much as I would like a full length series I slightly disagree actually. Would be cool but then the creator wouldn't have as much control as a larger team is needed. Animations wouldn't come out as often and with them as compact as this is you get the most OOMF out of each bit. Short bits her and there seems like the way to go.
