Thanks for making this video! I really appreciate it. I'm much clearer on this issue between the Pure Drive and the Pure Aero, I'm trying out rackets to make up my mind. I responded to your comment on the other video.
I think that apart from what the partner says very well is that apart from having picked up a racket, Pure Aero with terrible specifications, we have to explain a very bad quality control by Babolat, which is the worst in that sense, Pure Aero 2023 is much lighter and lighter than Pure Drive, there has to be some error in quality control, from my Mir opinion, I try to support this channel with the great partner we have ❤️💪🏼🎾
Spot on. I realized this after playing with the pure aeros and racials. I've played with both 98s. The swing path is so different so what I did is switch to a pure drive and put head lynx with 1.30 to flatten the shots at 55, and now I have a controlled, easy to use radical , minus the flex. Pure drive is a fantastic racket if you can tame it with string. I've also played with the pure drive 98 and that racket is absolutely horrendous on my arm. Night and day comparably to the 100 pure drive. Terrible racket
I changed the Pure Aero for the Pure Drive, at first I was impressed with its power, it is really superior to all the rackets I had played, but then the problem came, as I doubted it was the bazooka they said it was, I strung with Yetx Quadro Twist at 48L, it is quite difficult to keep the ball on the court. Please, what strings do you think go well with this racket, and what tension would you apply?
For this "puppy" I suggest tension 55-54lbs and Tecnifibre Black Code, RPM Blast, RPM Team or basic RPM Hurricane. All 1.25mm. With the last string this was my setup for a very long time when I played with the Pure Drives back in the days. I played with Pure Drive+ so I had even more power thanks to the longer frame.
Thank you for this interesting video! I have one more question: I’m just starting my journey in the tennis world, and I was wondering if the Aero would be a good choice for learning how to generate heavy spin (I love that playing style), or if it would be better to start with the Drive. For reference, I’m 179 cm tall and weigh 85 kg.
As a beginner aiming to be intermediate, which one should I choose between the two? 1. Pure aero 100 (team) 2. Pure drive 100 (team) Should I go for team ones or the standard 300gm ones? Please let me know with reason.
Beginners should always start with easier rackets, because you can always upgrade. So I encourage you to go with lighter racket first to get into the sport, get the feel for the ball and create a good technique without hurting your arm. I would go with Pure Drive 100 Team. Just my personal preference. But the Pure Aero Team can work as well.
@CzechTennisGuy Hello :) , I started watching your videos and I am very interested in your opinion and I need help because I see that you understand each other very well. I changed Babolat Pure Drive Tour to Speed Pro, because I was looking for better control, and I got that with the feeling that my power is a little weaker, I use the RPM Blast strings, and now after almost a year I feel a little stiff, and I don't feel the best shots it seems that I need to hit a little harder and now my question is whether I should change the strings maybe or maybe I should try Head Gravity Pro or maybe MP,because of that feeling of the game or maybe Pure Strike 100 gen 4? otherwise, I'm an intermediate player, i am 30 year old and i play now for maybe 3 years of “Professionall” tennis, when i mean playing, i have a coach i train and i play with my club friends and i am left handed player 🤓my playing style is that I play 80% on the baseline, I defend defensively and I mainly attack from the counter, there are times when I attack but I prefer when I defend and Novak is my favorite player and I like his style of play

Thank you, you're welcome. Just go ahead with Aero. It's the best spin option for any level.
Pure drive tour with a leather grip , that is the the one I like, also the new PS 100 16x20 with customization.

How about the Rafa version? Is its cross section also similar to pure aero’s?
I truly don't know.

Hello MajorMan, I have made a video to answer your question, here it is 😉: ua-cam.com/video/LBmLoU4GYjM/v-deo.html
@@CzechTennisGuy I appreciate it a lot, thank you 🙏
100% agree with you.
Pure drive for power.
Aero less powered but better for variations.
