Yes, this is more powerful than Pajero Mini, but indeed you'd want more even if on low-speeded, winding roads with a bunch of traffic signals in Japan. However, the 4WD system is really awesome. This is a ALL ROUNDer! Mountain roads in Japan have no less than two meters on average with cliffs, so large offroaders like Defender, G class, or Land Cruiser are useless. Now we only have Jimny, but a quarter century ago we had this too.
I'd drive this. It looks like a fun little car and the all-white scheme looks great. This would be great to tow behind a small RV. Treat it as a two-seater with a decently big cargo area.
just noticed it aint even a bottle is a full blown thermos water can big friggin water can TADA i have a nepresso brand thremo cup i found at a goodwill or some where and i love it! it fits in all old cup holders ment for a cup and fits 2 strong 2 bags about 16 oz and i also carry around the thermos so i can always have hot tea. those back seats have plenty of space for padded cargo or a dog! off roading aint about power as much as ground clearance and gearing. took my loyale off road and did great . but i lack a low range.
Wow, I would actually buy this vehicle if it was sold today over Hondas, Nissan and any of the GM. Most new vehicles are absolutely garbage quality with the exception of course Lexus, Toyotas and Mazdas.
Please review a regular sized Montero (preferably the 3rd generation from 2001-2006) or the Montero Sport, those are pretty underrated SUVs as well.

Kinda reminds me of my old Geo Tracker I used to have. Mine had a removable fiber-glass top. I wish something like that was made today.
