owl city i will never stop loving you
"How could the light that burned so brightly....
Suddenly burn so pale?
Bright eyes..."
RIP Richard Adams, author of "Watership Down"!
Rest in Peace you legend! ❤️ I wish you were still with us, sharing more wonderful stories for the world. 😢
I am one of Adam young's biggest fans, this is what you call music
Fr God bless
Jesus loves and has a plan for all he says commit your work to the Lord and your plans will be established
"How could the light that burned so brightly, suddenly burn so pale? Bright eyes." I love Adam forever.
I love how people are still coming back to this video after like 7 years
I can't believe I've only just found this. I love Owl City and Watership Down. This has made my day!!
Adam Young make me think about love.
Apart from the victory of the heart, there is a better reward for those they love.
See his smile lights up any stormy day and watch him for hours, if you want to ...
Being able to speak, painting, writing, playing about him ..always with a melody that is his sweet voice in the ears.
Sometimes I stop and think of him and of every moment that we have spend togheter and I realize that him is my whole life!
Don't stop loving.
I literally starting crying after I heard this cover. It's so beautiful
Adam is an angel ^^
He never disappoints...EVER!
Truth
No he doesn’t and I love the piano and orchestra music, very sentimental I just want to cry

I love the key change into a minor on "And what does it mean?
Oh, is it a dream?"... it makes the song have that nostalgic early 1900s feel.
Jane in my opinion, he did a better job at this song than Art Garfunkel
Hey Jane.
oh my God YES! it sounds so magical, makes me very nostalgic.
I've never heard of this song or the animated movie before, but THIS IS SO GOOD. Adam's Voice is so dreamy and magical here. It's a beautiful masterpiece. No matter how big of an Owl City fan you are, there's always something new. This is amazing.
Whatever you do don't watch the film. I was 8 when I saw it I'm 27 now. I have not and never will recover 😭😭😭
You'll probably never see this but this song will mean so much more to you once you watch Watership Down.
@@SuperAmzy1 Will definitely consider checking it out sometime. Thanks for the reminder.
Which animated movie?
his voice is so soothing omg
This cover played a part in me reading "Watership Down" for the first time... Now my favorite book of all time!
Me too! :)
Watership Down is Adam's favorite book.
It just became my new favorite book too after reading it this Summer!!! And my new favorite animated series. I wish this cover would have been in the new series, he’s got a pure voice
I am almost finish with the book!
I cannot believe it’s not on ITunes
I love Adam young he’s so amazing and talented how come bright eyes is not on one of his albums I wish I was
Can't. Stop. Listening. Such deep meaning behind the lyrics...trying to figure it out.

Such a great voice...
Wow...Adam could make an awesome cover for almost any song!
bright eyes brining like fier
Watership Down is a fantastic film and book and Adam's done an amazing cover of this song :'D
Beautiful voice Adam
Listening to this at 3 AM when I recently lost someone was an EXTREMELY bad idea.
So is writing this comment at 3 AM.
But Rational Me is asleep right now.
plot twist: Rational you doesn't exist
How are you God bless

I've been a fan of Adam's for a while now, but just got around to reading Watership Down this past week. I'm so happy I did, it is a great book! I even watched the movie today, and that returned me to this cover.
Just when I thought this song couldn't POSSIBLY be any more depressing!
Yet, it's so beautiful.
MonoTopia5
It really is.
I actually love this version much better than Art Garfunkel’s. He actually sings this with more emotion and what’s awesome about Adam Young is that he has Asperger’s.
Thank you for this, even though i can't listen to it without breaking down into tears
O' Frith take these innocents into your heart.
Let them be with you forever in the kingdom of El-ahrairah The Prince with a Thousand Enemies.
Let them know not pain or sadness now or evermore.
Live forever in joy and love them as no other ever could.
Lucky and Brave.
My beautiful babies.
Our time together was so brief and there are no words to say how much I will miss you.
I will never forget you and not a day will pass that my heart will not ache when I think of you.
So rest for now.
Until the day we are reunited.
My beautiful babies.

Hopefully you recover, Xyborg!
You still alive?
Maravilhoso esse som ,de certa forma me acalma.❤
That picture of Adam fits the song perfectly.
Love this song
Amazing. So much emotion watching this as a boy in the 70s
God, how I love Adam Young. He never fails to amaze me and as soon as I heard this cover, I just burst into tears. Watership down was my favourite movie of all time and I watched it 24/7 when I was a child. I had no idea that it was also one of HIS favourite books too.
That alone, is really special to me, and I won’t let anyone take that from me.
Adam Young, thank you for inspiring me.
This song can only be sang with a true meaning of the spirit, a true meaning of life and after life.
I adore all of Adam's songs and covers, but I think this one just traveled down into my heart and embraced it. It hurts a little, but in a good way.
Adam young you are the best *_*
Hard to believe this song was originally the theme for "Watership Down"; Adam makes this song sound sweet and calming. And I love it!!!
This is like a child's lualby, mixed with a sympothy and it came out beautiful. :-)
Watership Down AND Owl City? The awesomeness level has broken the scale!
I was just rereading the book... for the ten thousandth time... now if only, when my birthday gets here in a few weeks, I could get the film as a gift and watch it ten thousand times... as it is I've played this song ten thousand times (the original and this breathtaking, beautifully mastered cover.)
Adam is the reason I read WD and loved it. And saw the film and loved it.
Thank you, Adam, for helping me to discover the masterpiece that is Watership Down!
I'm in love with Watership Down right now... I've read the book and watched the film so many times.... Watership Down is gonna be my summer reading book, I love it so much.
And I'm in love with Adam Young's work! The fact that these two amazing things collided makes my heart melt! A beautiful twist on a modern classic!
Watched Watership Down.Cried when i heard this song. One day,i search up some Owl City songs and found this.Thought about how the movie would look with Adam singing the song instead of Art Garfunkel.Spent the rest of the week thinking.I might as well make a remake of the movie with this song instead of Art's version O.o
Owl citizen forever! ♥
Omg... Watership down theme right?
That movie... no idea why my parents thought it was a good idea to let me watch that as a kid...
+riggerrogger101 probably because the story is a cautionary tail on the evils of socialism and communism. The book is a very powerful statement on individual freedom and what happens to it when it is stripped away.
From the animated British film about bunnies that ended up all killing each other serving as an allegory, with the labours of a bunch of rabbit characters "mirroring the timeless struggles between tyranny and freedom, reason and blind emotion, and the individual and the corporate state."

I'll be here waiting.
lmao ok
I love this song so much!
I remember when my mother read Watership Down to me and my little sister. Its one of my favorite books ever.
BEAUTIFUL JUST BEAUTIFUL
omg big up to adam young
I love this cover.❤
I... I have no words... It's just too perfect...
goosebumps.I never thought I'd hear a cover that gave me the same feeling the original did. just... wow.
This version of the song should definitely be the end-credits for Watership Down child friendly CGI movie Remake. I think the movie should get a Remake that stars Martian Freeman, Jim Sturgus, Hugh Jackman, Andy Serkis, & Michael Fassbender.
The Double U They've actually got the entire cast and it's going tp be a BBC Netflix miniseries.
I hope this version will be both the opening title with lyrics and the end title after the episode only instrumental.
Its out now on Netflix but not really reaching the standards of the 1978 movie.
Present day, 2019: well that remake was a hell of disappointment. Wanna good Watership Down series, watch the 1999 cartoon. Oh and for the furries out there; yes, Blackberry is a female. Now go on, make all the shipping/porn fan art and fan fiction with her and Hazel.
This song always make me cry...and I rarely cry.
I love this ... thank you Adam ..
How can people dislike this?! D:
This is so beautiful, his voice is music for millions of ears!
This is one of my favorite Art Garfunkel songs out there, including everything he did with Paul Simon.
This is a great song for Adam to sing, I feel. It's rich in emotion and nicely nuanced, and I love Adam's interpretation of it. It's a nice departure from the tone of The Midsummer Station, which was marked by an increase in accessibility and the introduction of some very dark undercurrents. Still, there's a lot of substance in everything Adam does, pop-y or not, and it all means a lot to me.
beautiful. simply beautiful
Fabulous. Beautiful rendition.
Adam omg soo beautiful
I always cry when I hear this song. Hearing dear Adam sing it makes me cry even more.
אדם יאנג אני אוהבת אותך!!!
Bright eyes 4 sure!
Listening to this as an adult... hits me hard because I used to listen to it as a kid, it was the year my father passed away.
Just heard the original by Art Garfunkel and I had completely forgotten about this cover! So well done!
Man nostalgia that watership down movie scared the shit out of me when i was younger
I hate this song for how sad it makes me. But he makes it sound sweet.
king of synthpop/ electro pop
Awesome song cover by : Adam Young.
I'll play this before I sleep. It's like a lullaby song. :)
amazing vocals two thumbs up for this cover
I love it. Adam R. Young, your voice harmonizes so much with the song. Thank you for doing this cover!
So beautiful.
A computer-animated adaptation should use this
Oh mein Gott... Als ich so die ersten Strophen gehört habe, dachte ich:
"Das is ja ganz cool..." Und dann beim ersten Refrain... BOOOM!!!
WOW Wirklich Göttlich... *-*
Im gonna cry! *-* So breathtaking...
Though I prefer the Art Garfunkel version, this is a beautiful rendition of one of the most pure songs from an animated feature! :)
I fell in-love.
There are no words to describe the perfection in this.
I love Adam's cover a lot more than when Art Garfunkel sang it ^^
it's so good !!!
He needs to collect all these little songs he hasn't put in albums
Netflix is supposed to release a Watership Down miniseries late this year. If they don't get Adam Young to do the score, it will literally be the biggest missed opportunity!
It was a huge missed opportunity!
I thought Watership Down was going to be a cute bunny movi- NO. NO. THEY ALL KILL EACH OTHER. Beautiful song though.
a bunny
I love AY so much 😘🌃
god this cover
Oh my...this is very powerful
This so beautiful :') gives me goosebumps
This is glorious.
Its sooo good
My heart joined the thousand because my friend stopped running today.
I just finished reading Watership Down... this song officially holds a whole new meaning for me.
I've read an original Filipino story. . . the story say " heaven is on man. . . no one cant see it. feel it. touch it." but this song prove it was wrong, the truth is . . . ADAM IS HEAVEN !
D: Oh my god. An amazing cover of an amazing song. I haven't heard the original in so long.
Its so beautiful and amazing when he sings it, He has a beautiful voice!!! Love OWl CITY adam young!!!
