Of course it's a religion. Check the Bible (book of James). It's a personal relationship, but it's more than that. It's corporate too (check Hebrews 10:25). Be careful of having an itching ear (2 Timothy 4) and settling for the catchy phrases that don't accurately and truly describe the biblical Christian faith.

Same here. I’m an Eastern Ky hillbilly who loves country music and I’m a Christian. However, I’m the guy driving an F150 and blasting Owl City. I find peace and happiness in his music. And when I realized he was a Christian, he became one of my top three musicians. Owl City forever. The younger generations will never understand.

I look up to Adam. Not only for his music, but also for his faith. Whenever I start to doubt, I find myself here and remember that God loves unconditionally. Adam's Christian covers make me cry.

I've been a Christian for a long time, I'm only 14, but I know for a fact that God is for real. My dads a pastor and being a Christian has been really helpful. If you don't believe I highly encourage you to find your heart and believe in our Christ, our savior.

I am an atheist and I have tried to become a Christian before, but I can’t. I just can’t bring myself to believe. I want to believe because a Christian world view is much better than a positive atheist world view, but it isn’t logical with any kind of solid evidence to back it up in my opinion.
The first Christian cover I heard from Adam was "In Christ Alone"...and it honestly came as a very pleasant surprise. I had thought it was a little unusual that his songs were appropriate for all ages, but I never suspected he was a fellow Christian! This man now has my respect on so many different levels. May God guide us and watch over us in our daily lives!
Most of his songs are about God.
Adam is one of the very few Christians out there that I like. Although I'm an Agnostic, I love Christian music, especially Adam's. He sings so gently with so much love, it is so relaxing.

I myself am not religious, but this song moves me in a way I can't describe. Coming from a Christian family, I love Christian music and I especially love Adam's. The way he sings these hymns is so powerful. When I listen to them, I just close my eyes and let the music take me where it will.

I find myself doubting in my belief of God a lot, but songs like these put me at peace. I'd like to fully believe in God, but find it hard to do so. But I'll continue to listen when I am suffering or when I long for inner peace, because it does effect me certainly.

I feel the same way, I've been calling myself an atheist for like ten years, and have only recently been trying to reconnect with my faith. It's hard and I doubt myself the whole time, but like you said, music like this puts me at peace with everything. I hope and pray that you can banish those doubts and find that inner peace you're searching for :)

I have a soft spot for religious songs like this. Not that weird christian rock stuff, the actual hymns sung during mass. Some just get really emotionally intense, and Adam captures that so well.

I have doubts, I am not a Christian but I do believe that God exists and Jesus was real. I question the religion itself but im all about having a relationship with God and hope one day I will get the answers. No hell, no death. Just peace and everlasting life engulfed with love and perhaps reincarnate if its possible.

To all singers i know, only adam is the most unique , the most simple, and the most humble. Almost all singers when they become popular changes their own attitude in a bad way.
