Being absolutely obsessed with his live tone from this era, I can say without reservation that I have NEVER heard an amp/guitar/player tone this close, and I mean ever. Just phenomenal.
Loving how those Tea for One licks sound on this amp!
that's the sound alright, amazing
Brilliant job. Nailed it
Excellent tones coming from that amp and guitar....and your fingers of course
+Jon Gill
Thank you! cheers!
Daddy likes… I want! Im sure as a fellow Zep fanatic you already know this… but I would venture to say that TSRTS was so heavily overdubbed its hard to say what went on there in the end … but I have the Complete Garden Tapes (you probably do too) .. if I remember correctly its like 6 different sources incl 2 soundboard sources… these amps are about as close as can be… bravo!
Hey have you heard the "Any Port in a Storm - Lost Soundboard 73/01/22 show? Fucking Gold!!
You mastered Jimmy Page style man!
Really impressive...
Cheers and thank you!
Yup. You definitely nailed it!! Man...10:47 sounded awesome...my favorite part of TSRTS. Great job with everything! Always loved the 1973 tone.
takmagic777 Cheers!
Cool. My park 75 has the same specs and half the wattage. They did make a park 150 which would be identical. Great sounding amps with the kt88s. Works nice with the t top.
Nice amp (the 75)! Cheers! To the post above, no effects (pedals) save an EP3.
hi, can you recommend any settings for the tone from 1972 that appears on 'How The West Was Won' live album?
Brilliant demo Eric, absolutely nailed the tones, with a touch of reverb the Tea For One would have been heavenly. I am hoping you will do a demo of the Supro with a Tele at some point.
Hey Kris, Thanks! I did that Tea For One climb in a couple spots, one had more plate echo, the other much dryer, I think it was the second one?
Fantastic Video not to mention amp, killer!
Awesome tone, my fav part is at 8:55 killer !!
Saving up for this amp.
Have a few questions....
I bought a 07 Gibson les paul 1960 classic reissue that plays great and only weighs in at 7.6 lbs.
I want to replace the pickups and found a matching set late 60 early 70 T Top pickups that put out 7.5 and 7.7
Is that what pickups you use?
And do you use jimmy page wiring setup with the push pulls and out of phase?
What do you suggest?
Thanks Mike
GREAT!!!!!!!! I wonder what gauge of strings did You use in guitar and what picks?
Cheers!!!!
Hi. Just fantastic accurate 73' sound!!! Can I ask which strings do you use and what are the EP3 settings please? Thanks!
223217456 Thank you, Super slinks.
Amp sounds good but what effects are in use besides the Echoplex??
I so hope you post up some more tone comparison videos of:
-- Heartbreaker , The lemon song, and maybe some- I cant quit you baby !!
BostonMikeMarauder
Different amp, but check out the JPP100/50 "Before the West Was Won" video for a snippet of "I can't Quit You" BBC era
Do you use any reverb pedal? The cabinet is closed or opened?
Amazing. Is that a Custom Shop Les Paul? Pickups?
