It seems odd to compare a death scene with a birth scene, but both are filled with emotion and the stakes couldn’t be any higher in ether situation. Beautiful interchange. I don’t usually watch the celebrity interview but I’ve admired Rachel Weiss since her Mummy days as Evie (almost named my daughter after that character).

Literally one of the best shows I've ever seen in my life, and I've seen a ton. Weisz is spectacular, the writing and directing is spectacular, it's so unafraid to be different and original and graphic and ruthless but still has a pure heart beneat all of that. 100% recommend, unless you're faint of heart.

I love their discussion. There should be more depictions of childbirth and childcare to balance out all the violence. Once you think about it, you see how extreme all our entertainment is focused to just one side. It's only been a week. If this is anything like the last writers' strike in 2007, it probably won't be resolved until the third month, but by then, not many people will care, because it'll be summer and most scripted shows are finished by then. Besides, it's 2023 and I'm mostly watching streaming an Internet videos. The only show I like that's affected by the strike is Saturday Night Live (but that show always bounces back from disaster, even if it loses fans in the process).

Like Rachel said, it's a *dramatic* moment in a human being's life, but Seth, once you see a bad ending childbirth drama (if you know what I mean), it's not something that you'll be hopefully lucky to see one day, right? The drama you see on TV, no matter how bad the show ends, you'll always know that it's not real, and you'll forget it the next day. Gun violence always ends badly, but for childbirth, it's 50 : 50.

She had on a ton of makeup . Look online for pics...no makeup. You will be shocked. There's lots of them. And no. Not jealous. Would not be jealous of an older woman!

I read several scenes in Dead Ringers were so disgusting people left.
Rachel better get as many acting jobs now....unfortunately there are very few roles for women 50 and older and those are given to the A listers.

She is horrifying to watch being interviewed. She gives NOTHING for the interviewer to work with. Poor Seth, and many others, are trying desperately to pull info and entertaining info from her. But she is just a bore. Great actress. But a horrible person to interview.

I feel like we... watched different interviews? Because I found this one a delight.
I think she and Craig are quite private people, and that can make one wary of interviewers generally. Maybe that explains it a little?

@@deborahmulkey1627 There are some people who just can't grasp that the performance is for stage or screen... and that there are those who know the risks of not protecting everything outside of that. Rachel was gracious and funny here - but she doesn't owe us anything else. She was perfectly sweet with Seth, and I think he's smart enough to know who likes to continue the show after the footlights are out... and who isn't like that.
