If you notice before Kate died Gibbs was alot more carefree, but she died and he lost his smile a bit more. Then his coma and memory loss happened and he lost his smile just a tad bit more. After Jenny died though Gibbs lost his smile completely except for a small occasion here and there. Shannon and Jenny were the only two women Gibbs has ever loved and he lost both of them.

I don't know if they'll ever let Gibbs be happy with a woman for the rest of his life or the show. Mark Harmon's wife is guest starring on the show for a 4 episode arc. I've seen them act together in I'll Always Remember April (they played a married couple) it was adorable. Who knows maybe Gibbs changes and likes investigative reporters when Pam comes on? Maybe they'll actually keep her. I liked him with Dr. Ryan too she brought out a fun side to him and they flustered one another constantly, like a more toned down Jenny & Jethro; and his chemistry with Jamie Lee since Freaky Friday is great. But Jenny will always be favorite. That was the first woman I think he honestly loved since Shannon. Him not even being able to open her body bag broke me. I was like stop hurting my Gibbs!!

Best option for Gibbs is a body bag and I don't think it's going to be a woman AND a body bag. I feel like Jack is going to be the last one Gibbs ever loved.
