Special Needs Reunification Program

Designed to assist in the timely reunification of loved ones who may become displaced from their homes, the program can provide law enforcement crucial information about the registered person even before we arrive at their residence. Individuals with Autism, Dementia, Alzheimer’s Disease and Down Syndrome are examples of members of our community who might benefit from this registry.

This is an amazing program for the Coachella Valley given the percentage of senior citizen in our valley. Also given the recent influx of new citizens who have families and may have children with special needs and/or other needs provides the deputies with information how to reunite the person with their family. For the minor children it's critical to provide them with information to place the child at ease and allow them to also reunite them with their family. Excellent Program!

I’d like to say that beautiful interactions, like the one seen here, go both ways. It’s as much up to police as it is to the community to be courteous and polite, welcoming and friendly to each other. Teamwork makes the dream WORK

He then proceeded to call child protective service and ruin this families life but before that he beat and tazed the lady for not producing ID then put a knee on the kids neck as he tried to help mom. But don’t worry he didn’t shoot anyone. Maybe next time
