Feels like acne is a never ending problem. Once your acne is gone, the scarring is a million times worst than the acne itself. My friend who is acne prone skin, heals scar in just two weeks! Me on the other hand have to try so many things and will take so many years to heal!! It's worst when your cousin/friends/relatives comment about your face and acne is popping because you're not taking care of hygiene. These people will never understand!
    Sorry for the long comment

Some people heal worse, unfortunately. However, she might have been using products at the time that minimized scarring. I've noticed that scarring usually happens when it takes a long time for acne to resolve. So, the quicker you can get the acne to resolve itself using beneficial products that increase skin turnover like acids and vitamin A + C, the less chance of scarring.

I'm 35 and still have acne scars, suffering from 12 years old! You reminded me of me when I was young. I'm so much worse than you girl and I hated the fact that my family didn't have money to help me when I needed it the most. I wish we had youtube channels back at 2000... The only protection I had, was to throw my hair in front of my face hiding it from the world so that noone could see my scars. Sometimes when my confidence was on bottom, my hair would hide my tears at school and that was ok for me because noone could see them. As years were passing by, I was based on cleaning my face every day as much as possible even 6 times a day and I was never out without makeup. My confidence may have gotten better and better, but my scars have stayed and always keep reminding me that it's ok for me to be alone since noone would ever like me because of my scars. I dated a lot, but couldn't stay in a real relationship. I guess I will never get through this "scar" of my life. I never talked about it with anyone. I got tired of being lectured while I was young, or being told how bad my face was, but never suggesting me what I could do about it. I locked all the pain inside me, crying a lot alone in the dark when noone could hear me. I literally hated high school and wanting to cut those years off from my life with a knife if that was possible but somehow I made it through. I think that I changed a lot. I became cold towards others. I made my heart stone and never let myself close to someone because of the fear of getting emotionally hurt because of the way they would look at me...anyways. Sorry about the blabbering, I'm sure you don't give a f***, but I just wanted to talk for the first time after all those years about it and share it with y'all!
If you went through half of what I went through, then I'm sure you can relate to me!

@lizziepool I think many people have feel what you feel, in my case I have had acne since 12 as well, now that I'm 30 my skin is recovered but I have scars, although I'm considered pretty I'm so insecure that I'm not able to have a real relationship either, lots of things come up when I think in having a relationship, things like would I feel good going to the beach with this person and expose my scars with all the sun light in my face, for example, this is really hard I know but just wanted to tell you that you are not alone and I understand you.

I can feel every single line because I have gone through the same thing. Though people consider me pretty, I am always like 'its because they have seen me only from a distance'. I am 25 and have never dated anyone because of the insecurity. I hate talking to someone, girls or boys out in the open, because of sunlight making my scars visible even under the make up. Its been painful at many points to deal with this. I hope there is more awareness on acne, there are more solutions to acne and no one has to go through what I did.

I wish I had had someone like you to talk to in my teens! One consolation I do have is that I dont look my age and people have complimented me on my wrinkle-free skin. I ran into your videos the first time when I was a teenager and had started the battle with acne a couple of years before that. Nowadays my acne is quite well controlled but I was fearing I'd have to live with the damn scars all my life (like my aunt, she's a living example of what I feared my skin would look like when I'm her age). It's great to know there's still hope! :) And even without any expensive solutions performed by professionals like a diamond polishing or whatever those are - though they are still something I'm willing to look into.
It's awesome to see you're still sharing your experiences with this pesky skin condition ♥ It's a great boost for motivation. You're amazing!

Your skin is BEAUTIFUL! Well done on the incredible healing you kick started. I too healed my scars considerably by using high quality skin care with Vit C moisturizer by Ole Henriksen, all vegan diet, TONS of water and moisturizing just like you said!

I love how open and honest you are. Despite how postItive you are, which I admire, it saddens me that the scars won't go away. I already knew, but still. Looking at all my friends who never had to deal with acne and have beautiful skin, I still can't help but feel insecure about my scars and acne. I'll just look at you as my UA-cam friend and keep in mind that I'm not alone :)

I like when you say "you are an acne warrior", that is wonderful! Thanks. I know that it does get better with age, it softens. I wanted to add you are very beautiful the tiny amount of acne scars are not noticeable, or unattractive in any way, even without make up.

Your skin looks amazing, I'm so happy for you! I have acne prone skin and sometimes it feels as though nothing works for me. My skin goes through these periods of clarity then all of a sudden it goes crazy over and over again. I've been following your journey for a while, and you've really inspired me to not be ashamed of my acne, and not be afraid to walk outside with no makeup on. Seeing you get these amazing results shows me that there is hope for me too. 💜💜💜
