    To those wondering if Duesenberg Guitars are made in Korea, take note that NOTHING IS MADE IN KOREA. DUESENBERG GUITARS ARE 100% MADE IN HANOVER GERMANY.
    That Korea thing was nothing but a rumour.
    These guitars play amazingly well, the build quality is second to none and the tone is outstanding. These are definitely not made in korea parts and assembled in Germany. These are 100% Hand Made in Germany.
    Peace! ✌

      @stephanebeauchamp-kiss3181 7 років тому +3

      incorrect...They aren't casting their knobs in house or in Germany...I guarantee you. The same goes for the trem systems....there's no way those are either cast or machined in house....no way...which is why the rumours started and spread....you obviously own one, or love them enough that you dont want to admit this...keep on researching, you'll find that Duesenberg has never denied that part manufacturing is outsourced to the finest OEMs in the world...but, they are still not made by hand in-house at a Duesenberg facility in the heart of Germany. Nope...they just aren't...it wouldn't make economical sense and the guitars would be twice the price.

      JemmyJems_ actual All is made in germany EXEPT the body is cnc in korea. Its not a myth, the president of duesy said it, thats why they cannot label them as "made in germany" but the duesy are just very better in quality than any usa made guitar, custom shop 335 vs a duesy gran, it will be night and day in quality, germans are top notch enginiers specialy vs americans

      I'm lucky enough to own a Caribou and can confirm that the build quality is incredible. The knobs are heavy duty, the design is flawless and the tones are oh so good. It never goes out of tune when you use the tremolo and it's fully adjustable. 10/10 guitars!

    Very "satisfying" sounds. If I had an original band in the vein of the 60s/70s era bands, I'd definitely go for that amp. Because you find your own sound while still sounding "era-correct".

      Nope, the Duesenberg's are made in Germany. This is what Capt. Anderton said about the whole Germany/Korea-thing: "OK - I have the definitive answer re whether or not Duesenberg Guitars are made in Korea or not. Duesenberg Guitars are 100% made in Hannover, Germany. The origins of the Korea rumour started 7-8 years ago when a guitarist mag MISTAKENLY printed a review saying that Duesenberg Guitars were made in Korea & assembled in Germany. This was incorrect. However, there are still several forums (including up until recently one on Thomanns web site!) that still mention this incorrect statement. I'm am hopeful that Duesenberg will shortly release some factory footage from Hannover that will finally put these rumours to bed."

      @dvstec 8 років тому +1

      +63timfred Parts are made in Korea (wood cutting/shaping/neck/frets etc), Assembled in Germany. It's a bit mis-leading the way the "Made in Germany" laws can be twisted

    • @CaptAnderton
      @CaptAnderton 8 років тому +6

      +dvstec Its a problem for all manufacturers & consumers - the law basically says that the "made in" stamp is where "most" of the manufacturing/assembly process takes place. So many parts for guitars & amps are made in the far east, that almost all products will have some element of far eastern work/components in them. I guess ultimately all that really matters is whether or not the product is good!

    • @CorrosionAudio
      @CorrosionAudio 8 років тому

      +CaptAnderton Completely agree! We're in a period of history where you can be reasonably sure your going to get a well made guitar no matter what country you buy it from.

    • @dvstec
      @dvstec 8 років тому

      I’m not disputing the quality these are great guitars, but for me it’s like if I bought an American Standard Strat and later found out that 90% of it’s parts was made in Indonesia and it was only put together like
      a puzzle in the US I’d feel that it was mis-leading and that I was scammed.
