@@GeoShred -- What are the minimum system requirements to run GeoShred on my Mac. I am thinking of buying an Osmose, but my Mac is probably stuck on Mojave (10.14) for the foreseeable future. Does that cut me out of GeoShred Studio? I just asked Bing! and it said Catalina (10.15) is the bottom line. Is that a hard fact, or just the lowest supported version of Mac OS?
@@zedxxx9 As stated on the product page (www.moforte.com/geoshred-studio-quick-start-guide/) Catalina (10.15). is the minimum. This is because the Apple Technology (Catalyst) used by developers to migrate iOS/iPadOS apps to macOS has a minimum of Catalina (10.5).
Are you using the plugin or the stand-alone app? Are you controlling it from GeoShred for iOS/iPadOS or a MIDI Controller? Note that if you are using GeoShred (iOS/iPadOS) and if you use GeoShredConnect, look at 3:34 in this application note, then GeoShred Program Change is passed to hosts via a backdoor. Note that most DAWs block program change and we use a back door for GeoShred (iOS/iPadOS) to GeoShred Studio (macOS).PitchBend should just work when using GeoShredConnect (Send/Receive) If you are still having problems, please reach out to us directly support@moforte.com.
You want to be sure that you are using GeoShredConnect (Send/Recieve) on both the iPad side (Send) and the Logic side (Receive) Look at this video starting at 2:34. If you have further questions please reach out to us directly at support@moforte.com.
