Thanks for the video of Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Canada! The scenery is beautiful and really showcases the charm of the area. I enjoyed seeing the campus and local landmarks. Can’t wait for more amazing content from this vibrant town!
On our first trip to NS, we drove thru Antigonish. Kept seeing signs along the way to eat at Mothers Webb's. Glad we did! I had a hamburger steak and fries with gravy, yummy! The workers were so good and friendly. Talking with a waitress, guess my Georgia southern accent gave me away, asked is I was from the south USA. We talked a few minutes while I waited on my wife and daughter to finish in the restroom and she gave me 2 shot glasses, even though I don't drink I took them. They're on my rack with my coffee mug collection. The people of NS are so nice and friendly, especially to our daughter who has Downs Syndrome. Binge watching your videos!
I just found out the Bauer Theater is being closed by the university??? I hope plans are in place for a new arts center for both university and town? St. FX while having some lovely buildings does not have a great deal of arts infrastructure. Antigonish has been home to excellent live theater from the Bauer over the years. It would be tragic for this to end. Hearing this news from far away some explanation would be very helpful?
Many folks from the UK would love this place. Like a lot of rural UK locations it is very near a ultra modern motorway. Town and County together equal plenty of room for growth.
