I had my uncle who is a very big ASU FAN call and tell me about the battle and basically said this is better than JSU AND SU BECAUSE THESE TWO BANDS PLAYED MUSIC so I had to really check this out ! then he told me about "FALLING" AND SAID THERE WAS NOTHING ASU COULD DO AFTER THAT ...SIMPLY ARRANGED MAJESTICALLY! ...BEAUTIFUL.
Su Fallin and Alcorn Two wrongs was really the best song in this fifth!

Both bands played well, but it was kind of over after SU's Fallin. Could have waved the 🏁 after that one. Rest of the 5th was just clean up.Alcorn was ok though.

SU has by far the sickest arrangements! The Human JukeBox has taken the sounds of marching band to a whole different level!!! I said this before and I'll say it again, they can play behind any multi platinum recording artists for a live performance! So proud of every young hard working musician in the Southern University marching band. And can't forget about the Dancing Dolls keeping it classy with great style and technique in every step and move! Hats off to the awesome directors and leaders. Take a bow Jukebox! Alcorn's already impressed me a lot this year. If they could get like 15 more trumpets on top of what they have to balance that huge low brass a bit more they'd be even better. The ones there are definitely holding it down for their size though!

I dont understand why you think that lol? I literally laughed hard asf. SU is a wonderful school but I don't think a title can depict how well a (HBCU) band plays. You act like they are gods in music I beg to differ!! SU dont have any lows because they focus so much on being loud. I would like them to be diverse as JSU. (NOT A FAN OF EITHER SCHOOL SO DONT BASH ME).

This was no competition for SU. These guys are on a whole different playing field. No disrespect to any band they face, but SU will come out with the win because of their leadership direction aim for perfection with band character, arranging, playing, and marching.
