  • To be able to make an homage to a brand that forever changed how we play bass. To be a small portion of the history of this admired company and esteemed friends who portray what devotion to craftsmanship is about. But more importantly, to express our gratitude to Dingwall for the continued privilege of symbiotic collaboration. For the trust, the inspiration, and the encouragement to work harder.
    This is our tribute to a group of passionate colleagues who relentlessly created a line of bass guitars we all love to play. This pedal defines the tone we have been chasing together, with an uncomplicated footprint yet an intricate array of tonality. Carefully curated and streamlined to its core, it combines our best efforts into one limited-edition pedal that we are ecstatic to present to you.

    It's kinda funny, a bass preamp based on a pedal gets turned into a pedal.

      They’ll probably make a bass preamp out of it…

    Legit question, why not just use the b7k? Am I too much of a stupid metalhead?

    Doug Castro and Sheldon Dingwall, great idea. I hold both companies’ products in high esteem.

    Plz tell me it’s the Neve preamp project Dingwall was talking about in the Duran Duran Rio Bass video. Bc that would be awesome and I’d buy it. Don’t stop making it. So many people would buy it just to have it. Neve is so fetishized across all audio.

    Is it a B3K? Just redesigned?

    • @funkingitup1805
      @funkingitup1805 Рік тому

      Maybe. The B3K has a blend knob that is missing. Also missing is the "Grunt" and "Mid Boost" buttons. I would hypothesize that the level only effects the driven sound and not the clean sound passing through at unity volume. I would also hypothesize that due to the missing grunt and mid-boost that the tone knob may be a little more complex filtering than the standard high frequency roll off that a normal tone knob does.

      My guess is it’s based off the on board drive darkglass made for the Dingwall hellboy bass

    The bass pedal version of a Tubescreamer.
