Thanks for the heart Jacob... The reason I asked is because Barnet NHS hospital has an opening for nursing assistants via indeed. The offer is 22-24 K/ anum, and they consider overseas sponsorship. However, they said that they might not be able to meet the salary threshold for band 2-4 as it might nog meet the required one by HO... Pls enlighten if u have idea cz i think HO requires 20k+ only

Good morning Jacob,,, I am 25 years old from uganda, an enrolled nurse with a certificate and working lincese, I did my ielts academic and i got 6.5 overall band score,, is it possible to work in the UK as a career with results. If yes, do I have to undergo st John training or red cross for certificates yet I already have mine from the Uganda nurses and midwifery council.

What about UK new point base system for visa?. According to my knowledge foreign nursing assistant can not be achieved the score that need to got visa. And only senior care givers are in the shortage job list. What's your opinion for this new rules?
The code for nursing assistants is 6141 at UK shortage occupation list. That's not for UK nursing assistants it's for over Health assistant/Nursing assistants
For the point based you need to score a minimum of 70 which the can if they have job offer
Job offer 20points
Skilled level 20 points
Salary 23,000-25000- 10points
English competence- 10points has to do ielts
Job on shortage list 20
So most Nursing assistant score=80

I followed the process until I called the NMC UK and they told me foreign nurse assistants trained outside UK is not part of this route
No that not the way! NMC route is for Registered nurses. Nursing assistants apply directly for jobs look out for NHS jobs if you land one the employer gives you certificate of sponsorship to process visa

Try London business college, they offer Healthcare RQF level 3, RQF Level 4 and RQF level 5 Qualifi Diplomas and offer these diplomas for local and international students.

Sorry danish guess you are right for nursing assistants this might be enough since they are following a point system now days. Yes you are right B1 level is enough. If it was RNs it wouldn't be enough but N/A it's enough to get them the work visa and get required points
