wonsang (the bassist) actually said bcs they dont have a guitarist (their vocalist only play chords on guitar), he wanted the bass to be able to fill that space. especially bcs he's their main composer too he can add anything he wants to, and he's just super freaking talented
love this! lucy is always fun to listen to but boogie man definitely is one of their more upbeat and exciting songs :)) i thought the high vocal/violin mix was wonsang's (the bassist's) voice! he has used his high register in lucy songs before, such as hero, and often sings with that high breathy falsetto during their live stages~ such a fun reaction to watch

I really love you guys' in depth commentary on music. Lucy recently released some new songs (a single titled 'The knight who can't die and the silk cradle' and an EP 'From.' with the title track 'Villain'). I really would like you guys to react to these. 😄
I know you don't take recommendations, but you should consider reacting to or at least check out Fate by WeUs. It is very well composed, but doesnt even have 45k listens on spotify and UA-cam combined (she deserves much more recognition) The overall tone colour is a combination of The KingDom, ONF, Oneus and E'last, and i think it is a song that would be able to give a good reaction/analysis. Also i think it is in 3/4 with a random 4/4 bar thrown in the intro which is cool already
