The guy on yt that did the yz450 turbo, made the bike a weapon! He couldn't keep the front end down in the dunes! Every time the turbo hit it hit hard! Cool af!

That foam intake filter has a 15 minute life when it get hot.

Gonna be alot of R&D I wouldn’t buy it yet…. Get it on a track hold it wide open for 45 mins or at least a tire tank of fuel.

Dang that's so off the chain. I'm at home right now recovering from a shattered femur/ broken hip with a full hip replacement comming up in July. As soon as I get healed up and get back to work I 100% am buying one of these turbo kits. So Epic.

My only concern is that's gonna be some smoking hot oil being directed right onto the clutch. That being said, you are limited where you can return on that engine without going fully into the case. Looks pretty tight, really excited to see the numbers.
It looks cool I'll give you that I'm just a old two smoker kinda guy nothing like the sound of a 500cc two stroke to get the blood pumping. Y'all are #1 in so many ways love the videos your museum bike shop mechanic shop is all second to none l don't know how you get your hands on some of the beautiful older bikes especially the old 500. If I ever hit the lottery most of it will go to you because I would take a lot of them beauty's off your hands.
Not only can I just look at that bike, but I've been using a Boxo tool box for the past 10 months in a welding school, good boxes for sure.

Insane workmanship. putting it together while keeping the aesthetics of the machine must have had a lot of thought put into it. The only way this could be any better is if the turbo were on a CR500. A CR500 would handle 80+hp all day long without a ton of maintenance.

The Street Sweeper channel's yz450 turbo made 100hp a couple of years ago, he is going for 150hp these days! Isn't as clean as yours tho! Sick!

I’ve been working on a aprillia 550 rxv turbo build.
I question is whether the engine contains enough oil to feed the turbo and engine internals, and the life of the oil because of the heat created by the turbo

If you wanted to ride this thing in the dirt it would be nice if you could clock the turbo up under the gas tank more so that when your legs are out cornering or sliding forward on the tank It's not in your way. Don't know how hot those things get and if it could cause fuel to boil, though. For street awesome as is, cool to see 👍

Theres a dude on UA-cam with a turbo yz450. It works really well hes actually got it squared away now. Took a while. It pulls the front wheel up in 5th gear like a stock bike in 1st. He has a supermoto set up on it but hey, its still a yz450.
