You know what? I'm recently fully retired and USAF vet and really don't have anything on my bucket list because I've seen a lot of places. But I'll be dipped ... I've got to check out that museum with all those beautiful old school dirtbikes.

Wow... I've played with a few 2T cylinders and have never seen one quite look that purdy. The shape and design of the exhaust port is beautiful, the huge closed port quad transfers. Even the spark plug insert & decomp, its exciting and looks well done. That aint no AM junk from asia.
Finally some smart guys had a good idea. 700 2T and a 500 2T!? Hell yeah! I wish more manufacturers made 2 strokes and I also want to see 2 stroke only classes in supercross.
I love these two-stroke monsters, my old 2001 Kawasaki KX 500 is still a fearsome monster in Mtwapa Kenya 🇰🇪, squirting out a jet of rocks and sand on every dirt road, but I would love to have a 500cc with six gears, and an electric starter, I'm 34 years old, but it's not always easy to start them because of my knee getting seriously injured in 2015.
I bought two 04's that last year; one to ride and one to look at. It sits on a stand in my dining room, people dont know what to say when they walk in and see that lol
A gasgas ec300 supermoto is literally my dream build motorcycle, never even thought about making it a 500, this is like beyond my wildest dreams, I'm really excited to see this thing ripping
Man when you guys started rapping about honda cr 500"s it brought back and instant memory of when a friend of mine on base at white sands let me try his bike. I twisted the throttle and when that thing came on the pipe I think I saw god! That was back in '73 so I can only imagine what that kit is going to do to that gas gas 300....:-)
The casting industry is changing so rapidly that, even being in the industry and doing it every day, it’s difficult to stay on top of it!! With additive manufacturing and advanced CAD/CAM technology that allows us to utilize all of the capabilities of the new technology, we can do small-volume casting in HPDC (high pressure die casting), permanent mold or low pressure die casting, investment casting, etc. and be competitive with the sand casting process from a tooling cost standpoint. This is literally only begun to be possible in the last 12 months or so. I would love to discuss the possibility of casting some low production cylinders and/or cases that would incorporate whatever performance modifications you guys would like to see and doing so using a process that yields a much more robust and consistent part that has previously been cost prohibitive. Ok guys. Here's the deal: I've been wanting to build a 2022 CR500. I was the first to post on one of your CR500 long videos before you were even a GasGas dealer that the BRC was the way to go... counter balance... modern chassis...etc. I've decided to desert my plans on the CR500 and build a BRC 500 Motocrosser! This kit is unbelievable. I just wish the American dollar was with more right now. Im used to like 1.42. Blessings guys.

I was thinking "hmm you'd have to be under sea level to be jetted that fat" Or dead nuts winter cold Alberta or something... I think the ignition was the main issue . I don't see how they would send you it that fat I mean a little fat for some protection if the bike fell into the wrong hands. Maybe of a snowflake...

miss my 2stroke motorbike i had it going 50mph on a mountain bike frame i try and settle for cheap builds for fun i was homeless last year but still always kept some type of GAS Ripper the ebikes are cool but nothing compares and i hope we dont ever have to go all electric SOUND THE HORNS📯📯📯🏁🏁
Awesome the dent in the pipe is usually there to allow the front wheel to clear the pipe as the forks compress, Kawasaki did that on my KX 420 Circa 1981.
German engineering is very good but not convinced on electronics. Ex 93 E36 driver here ... now if they would give way and use some Japanese electronics, we would have a stellar product!

@Josh B No, yeah,I get it. I really really love the YZ's. Once I reaquaint myself with my 250X I may have a change of heart. Talking about auto oil injection, I used to have a 73 RD 350 that had auto oil injection that was bulletproof reliable. Hope the Euro bikes were able to get it right. I was much younger when I owned the RD. I foolishly gutted the oil pump in favor of a more "race pace" pre-mix. Thanks for the perspective!
That pipe is dented in one of the strongest parts of it, so that would take a bit of a hit. Snr having a bit of a Senior moment with the jetting 😁 Just playin.... Love you guys !
Ken we have a guy in our hillclimb/sprint club here in uk with that brc kit on a 300 ktm it's a beautiful quality kit and bullet proof motor but don't expect much more that a cold old cr5 in power , the bonus of it is the smoothness and its all new but is very expensive
When I used to build/ride/wrench and race PWC, Polaris (when still in the game) used the German made PVL CDI's and stators and had a GREAT track record all things considered. Their CDI's and stators could go bad but it certainly wasn't something that you could label "often"! Usually very solid CDI's!! Bitchin' scoot right there!!!

That indentation could be designed to clear the radiator shroud ! It is a tight fit from a 300 to the 500 pipe which requires much more room because of volume . Check it out first before removing it .

I also looked to STEAHLY for a heavier fly wheel weight, the added weight would also aid in letting a 250 or larger 300, thru 500 ++ actually hookup instead of just sit there and spin its wheel. Any ways ride until you can’t anymore , then buy a big bore kit & ROCK ON LIKE YOU MEAN IT. KEEP THE RUBBER SIDE DOWN & THE SHINY SIDE UP, AND ALL WAYS, ALL WAYS RUN A NGK GOLD SPARK PLUG & A CEAN AIR FILTER, and. DONT FORGET UNION 76 RACE GAS WITH PJ1 GOLD FIRE PRE MIX , ALSO GET THE-HOLE SHOT !!!!!!😏

Great vid man love the bikes, only thing I thought was slightly unfair is that Yamaha has actually redesigned their 125, looking for the 250 soon, but the 1.5 year revision on the ktms is honestly why I’ve stayed away from them, to many changes to soon, but I get your point they’re spending boat loads in r&d pushing two stroke tech.
The dent in the pipe can be fixed. You first plug up the end and clamp them, and one with nozzle from a truck tube, but I know if they make the clamping nozzle anymore. #1. Use a 90 to a 110 psi. #2. Heat the dent red hot, while tapping the edges with a finishing hammer. Be ready to back out the air if you to have too. You do it on 40 gage steel, but I don't know what gage they use now. Stay clear of the direction of the plugs.
I be following a youtuber 2 stroke stuffing he's making a supercharger 2 stroke 50cc making 21hp so far his engine is completely different and it's working he's just fine tuning everything he's having a problem with spark right now but it's still making the hp

There were multiple things that caused the falling of motocross and super cross and one big issue was going to the 4 stroke bikes. They just don’t have the sound and that was important. The other issue is motocross is very unorganized. You win the top 3 and get a trophy but they need a point system set up for riders to have a goal to go after. So many more things that have hurt this sport. We used to be able to ride anywhere and now people won’t let you ride on their land

I think maybe it was to get the engine started for break in. Fatter starts more easily... Unless you flood it obviously

Its a flaw... Its tiny band not what we put out intentionally. It got past us and will be exchanged.

I had a bored out open class KTM with 70 bhp. It wasn't as fun as my Penton 250. It was a beast, but too much in the woods.

Great vid man love the bikes, only thing I thought was slightly unfair is that Yamaha has actually redesigned their 125, looking for the 250 soon, but the 1.5 year revision on the ktms is honestly why I’ve stayed away from them, to many changes to soon, but I get your point they’re spending boat loads in r&d pushing two stroke tech.
The dent in the pipe can be fixed. You first plug up the end and clamp them, and one with nozzle from a truck tube, but I know if they make the clamping nozzle anymore. #1. Use a 90 to a 110 psi. #2. Heat the dent red hot, while tapping the edges with a finishing hammer. Be ready to back out the air if you to have too. You do it on 40 gage steel, but I don't know what gage they use now. Stay clear of the direction of the plugs.

There were multiple things that caused the falling of motocross and super cross and one big issue was going to the 4 stroke bikes. They just don’t have the sound and that was important. The other issue is motocross is very unorganized. You win the top 3 and get a trophy but they need a point system set up for riders to have a goal to go after. So many more things that have hurt this sport. We used to be able to ride anywhere and now people won’t let you ride on their land
