Up until a few months ago I was a 'pro-regulation' liberal.. What changed my mind officially on guns were two things: acknowledging that the purpose of a police is to record after a crime and hopefully catch the bad guy afterwords (what good that does the victim), watching talks from Penn Jillette & Judge Andrew Napalitano about individualism and the concept of government force, and reading Wealth of Nations (Adam Smith) & Rights of Man(Thomas Paine).
Good for you. I'm glad that instead of just blindly holding onto something because of fear or ideological reasons, you actually listened, researched, and thought for yourself about a big issue. They aren't hurting us at all." Just a personal story. Anyway, congrats to you!

She tried to contact the state police on many occasions to see if her application was reviewed but nothing. She got a restraining order but said she still does not feel safe and needs a gun. Well now she is dead and never got the license. He broke into her house and stabbed her. I was told by two different family members that even if she had a gun, she would not be able to defend herself. They told me he would steal the gun from her and kill her with it.... When I told them that is basically laying on the ground and dying, they told me they are not against self defense, just against self defense with guns..... A small woman with a knife vs a big man with a knife.... Gotta be fair amirite?
Jes## chr### they can't even, when it happens in thier circle, grasp the situation at hand. They know she was law abiding. They know that weapon would be used lawfully, and they probably know it would have been safely stored out of other hands. Disgusting. Why don't they just move away
6 years later and I’m watching this video and it’s very applicable. Just bought my first handgun and getting my concealed permit in the near future and my girlfriend is absolutely livid. Talking with her about it turns into arguing and at the end of the day I know I’m not gonna back down to practice my right of defending myself. It’s just sad cause little does she know it’s also protecting her
Altaire Versailles It's funny because you can see a hollow-point round in the magazine before he puts it into the gun. Not to mention if it was empty, the slide would have stayed open.
What's funny is.. I like people more when I find out they like guns. If they're not criminals lol. It's pretty much like a club with a diverse mixture of people.
Casually finding out who likes and owns guns, it's a plus if they also conceal carry, is how I found many of my friends in college. It's a good bonding time when a group of people go to a gun show then end the day doing drills at someone's uncle's quarry.
Damn this is an old video but it really rang true with me sir. Recently I have been noticing more and more how people look at me in public when I carry especially if Im not doing the greatest job concealing it at the time. I was having a very nice conversation today while waiting to get a haircut. well when I grabbed my cellphone from my Bravo concealment belly band to show the lady I was talking to something and she saw my gun the conversation stopped immediately and she demanded I move away from her since I was armed. I tried to explain I was a CCW license holder and that if I had not had my Cellphone in my belly band she would never have known i was armed so how did the fact that I had a weapon on me change the person she was talking to previously for almost 20 minutes. In fact I had not changed I was still the nice person I always am but her opinion of me had changed she now saw me differently because I was armed, and her prejudice cut a conversation short. I waited in my car until it was my turn to get a haircut I had the stylist text me when ready since with how everything went down and the scene that this lady made I felt it was just best I wait in my car, but still I did not disarm myself, and my weapon was still tucked in my bellyband as I got a haircut, and guess what nothing happened. I got a haircut I payed and tipped my stylist rather generously and apolagized for my part in the scene that was made earlier. The lady had left after her children had gotten their haircut, and all but according to the stylist she had continued the scene as I was in my car asking why they let people like me go there, and if there were going to call the cops on me and such. My stylist told me that she had informed the lady I was a regular, and I had never even said a cross word to anyone at any visit to that place previously, so she was confidant there was no reason to call the police on me. What can you do haters gonna hate. It is their problem not mine is all I know. I do not think this was a racial issue. Both me and this woman are well white. Just gun prejudice
Me personally I try not to get into arguments with people about my beliefs, especially when it comes to guns. I'm 110% pro guns. At the end video clearly you're not advocating violence, just the fact that people have the right to defend themselves even when cornered by people that are throwing sticks and stones that can kill, you so well said.
The reason I always answer "why I carry a gun", is I feel it's an opportunity for educating. Granted I need to feel the person in question "is" listening before I respond.
All I have to say is if you commit a crime you should be prepared to face the consequences of your actions whether it be being shot by a civilian or police officer. You could also be dealt with by the justice system, but it's a gamble and everyone knows that if you gamble a lot you're eventually going to draw the short stick. The argument is simple, if you do bad things eventually you'll get a taste of your own medicine.
Logic or Reason may not work, but taking them to the shooting range is pretty effective at changing someone's mind about guns and those that own them. I've brought several people to the shooting range that would have otherwise never touched a gun, and used to think negatively about people that owned them. I usually bring them to a Trap or Skeet range, because it's fun to see their excitement when they blast a clay target in the air.
+Chris Miller Exactly what i like to do. Most anti-gun people have never even been offered the chance to shoot at a range. Living in San Francisco i meet these people everyday but no one has turned down a range invitation yet.
+Austin Smith I live in the Bay Area, too. San Jose. I usually take them to Coyote Valley Sporting Clays. I've invited quite a few people to join me. Probably around 25 or so. Only 3 or 4 turned me down on the request.
I've heard of that one ill have to check it out. My favorite place atm is Sunnyvale rod and gun club they are very professional and accommodating for handicap shooters.
When he said "you don't need to question it", I thought that was ignorant but really it is very sensible if you have owned guns for a long time. Even if you have a .1% chance of dying by a thug in your lifetime, which is true for many of us, it can reduce that chance to a 0 or at least a fatter chance. Why do you where hats? They don't help you stay that cool? Your hair looks good. Not a "stupid question" but really a fucking useless one. If someone carrys a gun for a specific reason tied to a fat chance scenerio, they're doing it wrong. You should carry because you feel happier/safer/better doing it.
Sir, I have just found your page, I have to said, Much respect !!!! with all the crap that people are spewing, it is welcome to find a man of your character and intelligent, Thank you for you post and keep them coming.
I agree with Colion on this one. Last year I started to carry an Emerson Commander that I used as a work knife, I carried it everyday. Since that day for a long time a lot of my friends kept themselves at a distance just because I carried that specific knife.
"Jack, I'll never let you go," she said right before he drifted away and sank. How was that NOT hilarious? Btw, I LOVE baby penguins ... they're best with a little hot sauce.
Good points, Colion, I don't live my life for anybody but me. I respond with Merry Christmas when someone says "Happy Holidays," and I really don't care what they think of me personally. I try to be a good person, do right by others as needed, and am always friendly. But if someone doesn't like me because I like guns, or because I'm a Conservative, then they are missing out on life. I spend my time with those who do like me. I have enough of them already without having to try to win them all.
Thank you for doing what you do and hopefully some are educated by your videos. I love watching your videos and I do carry every day! Either my .40 or my .357magnum.

I usually end of getting frustrated and give up. After watching your videos I love your outlook on the subject. Subscribed!
I like guns if ppl don’t like it than they need to not go to places that sells guns or ammunition my bro is a cop so I learned about guns at a early age do what u love and screw everyone else
Why do I carry? Cuz I can and I want to. Plain and simple. Why I want to is my personal opinions and my personal beliefs. If Mary kay doesn't want to carry that her choice, idc why she chooses not to.
The best way for people not to dislike you for CC is to not bring the subject up. It's nobody's business but your own. And there's nothing wrong with laughing at the end of Titanic. I still replay it from time to time when I'm feeling low.
I loved the end you your video. It reminded me of the time I was approached while I was in MY FRONT YARD on the way to get my mail from the mail box. I was carrying open, (since it was my property) and this new neighbor, someone I hadn't even been introduced to approached me and before even saying hi, said, "Do you have a permit to carry that thing?" I immediately thought of the Trace Adkin's song "Rough & Ready" and a line in the song, so I immediately answered, "Yes. Do you have a permit to ask stupid questions?" I was told by two different family members that even if she had a gun, she would not be able to defend herself.
Was this in jersey?
7 years later and it still isn’t any better
6 years later and I’m watching this video and it’s very applicable. Just bought my first handgun and getting my concealed permit in the near future and my girlfriend is absolutely livid. Talking with her about it turns into arguing and at the end of the day I know I’m not gonna back down to practice my right of defending myself. It’s just sad cause little does she know it’s also protecting her
The very end of your video is the best, can't argue with logic...
Lol too bad the mag was empty
Sarcasm -_____-
Altaire Versailles It's funny because you can see a hollow-point round in the magazine before he puts it into the gun.
I like this guy more and more. keep em comin
Love Colin. Keep fighting the good fight sir.
Just subscribed last night. Mr. Noir has quite the sense of humor. 😂
Lmao the end was so funny! Great video man stay up bro
"Why do you carry a gun"? Because I can't get it to walk with me on it's own.
I only care what my dog and my girl think of me. Everyone else is secondary.
First rule is to not let anyone know you carry heat with you.
I love the ending!
"Why are you carrying a gun?"
"To deal with people asking me why I carry a gun."
I bought my first gun, my first 12g shotgun. I got told "Why did you buy that?"
me: because I am an American. I can.
That's OK. I don't carry for them, I carry for myself.
keep up the great work Mr. Noir! Thank you for all that you do!
That ending tho! Lol
nobody knows when I carry...hope it stays that way
I did laugh at the end of Titanic. Three hours for Jack to die unnecessarily? Then Old Rose roses a priceless gem in the ocean?
Well Said.
Had a coworker ask me at the time why i carried a gun. I simply responded “why wouldn’t i ?”
Alright to be fair I do laugh at the end of Titanic at this point.
Why would more than half of the USA hate people who own guns when about 55% of the total US population own at least one firearm.
"I am not a gun enthusiast , although I wish I were, just to piss off gunophobes.” ― Kurt Cobain
Oh, the irony.
? Did he really say that?
JunkfoodZombie yeah he was against guns for real lol it’s the definition of irony!!!
JunkfoodZombie and drugs!!!
Absolutely spot on target! Thanks for posting this for us all!
Another great video
I Don't Care If They Don't Like It...

Mmm, baby penguins.
You too huh?
Sir, I have just found your page, I have to said, Much respect !!!! with all the crap that people are spewing, it is welcome to find a man of your character and intelligent, Thank you for you post and keep them coming.
I agree with Colion on this one. Last year I started to carry an Emerson Commander that I used as a work knife, I carried it everyday. Since that day for a long time a lot of my friends kept themselves at a distance just because I carried that specific knife.
lol people didn't really like me before buying guns anyway, so I don't give a fuck haha.
Tomahawk them with a spare mag. None of the fatalities, and infinitely more laughs.
I was taught a long time ago "Never have a battle of wits with an unarmed person"
damn, still makes sense today
Too much evil in the world, and I’m not tryin to play victim
I'm waiting for the boxed DVD set of your videos. I love watching them.
Great to see your videos. Living in Brazil, a country where people hate and fear guns, is nice hear the voice of the reason once in a while. Even if this voice is not in my country. Peace!
Excellent video. Everything is well explained.
Thanks Colin. man i work with bunch of ppl that dont like firearms even in the morning briefing ppl was talking bout me on why i have an AR15 or my CZ75 shadow. I feel like i need to move to a like minded area. thanks for the video Colin
When questioned why you carry a gun, just answer "Because I can"
Colion Noir.....you are so informative, entertaining, and HILARIOUS. Good points all, and presented in a way that is enjoyable. Great example for young freedom loving people. Outstanding, thanks.
Colion you need to come to LA (Los Angeles ) to do something about concealed carry. It's impossible to get one here. There's a run off for a new sheriff (the person that issues the permits). Hold an event here, let these candidates know how important CCWs and armed citizens are.
Hey man thanks for all the good information. I am new to the channel and new to CCW. Your videos, opinions and helpful facts are a breath of fresh air. Keep up the good work sir!
I have been watching your videos now for the past couple of weeks. And I have to say I LOVE this one in particular. Your ending for this made me LOL so much. Sticks & Stones eh?? I have been confronted by a few people that are anti-gun and they believe their word is righteous. I always give them the explanation of why I carry and TRY to explain to them the WHAT IF scenario. I usually end of getting frustrated and give up. After watching your videos I love your outlook on the subject. Subscribed!
These older videos are still great
I like guns if ppl don’t like it than they need to not go to places that sells guns or ammunition my bro is a cop so I learned about guns at a early age do what u love and screw everyone else
Nobody but close family members (2-3) know I carry, and tbh I’d wanna keep it that way 🤷🏽♂️
The ending was GOLD
The ending is classic..that look says it all.
I love your videos man lmao, keep up the great work boss. The ending though was classic lol.
Had a discussion with my girlfriend about why it's better to own a gun now a days especially as a black american, she is now my ex girlfriend
I was like, naw. But then you explained. Huh, maybe.
Dawn; seven years later and those same people who disliked you are now in the same boat.
Actually pretty good advice. I try to talk sense into a few relatives. Not planning on bringing up the fact that im armed though.
Excellent. Thank you for the post
Why do I carry? Cuz I can and I want to. Plain and simple. Why I want to is my personal opinions and my personal beliefs.
If Mary kay doesn't want to carry that her choice, idc why she chooses not to.
I'm not a politician. I'm not elitist enough to afford armed security to do my protecting for me.
The best way for people not to dislike you for CC is to not bring the subject up. It's nobody's business but your own. And there's nothing wrong with laughing at the end of Titanic. I still replay it from time to time when I'm feeling low.
PEOPLE HATE PEOPLE WHO LEGALLY CARRY A GUN UNTIL THE GUN OWNER N HIS GUN SAVES THERE LIFE
I freakin love this guy.
Do you have a permit to ask stupid questions?" He has never spoken to me since, so you are right, we are not liked...and who cares?
Good points, and the ending was awesome.
great presentation at the end my favorite part
